  • This story from Dale Jr about what it is like to potty train his youngest daughter alongside his wife Amy is hilarious, and it is only made better by Dale's euphemisms.

Love the analogies to breaking a horse & wearing sunglasses 😂 (the potty training part…then you had that great transition from not being able to see you potty with sunglasses to Austin Cindric’s glasses)

When I worked with MRN Radio, I had to go and get Dale Sr from his motor coach to some live reads for MRN. When in the studio he took out a pair of reading glasses and I just gasped and he looked at me and said “not a damn word”

Love the stories from this show!
Before my younger brother became potty trained, he would crap his pants and tell our parents I did it.
I have a cousin who is nearsighted in one eye and farsighted in the other eye. Before his first visit to the eye doctor, he could not hit a baseball. He would lose sight of the ball right when he needed to swing. When he got glasses, his mother was afraid for him to wear them when playing baseball, so for a while he didn’t wear them during play. The first time at bat with glasses, the first pitch, he hit a home run.

I remember meeting Brendan Gaughan like 15 years ago at Pocono and talked to me and my dad in some downtime after practice. Talked about a few things, also said that he wears glasses but never wore them in the car, a part of me wants to think I remember him saying it was a safety issue. I guess now the glasses they wear are made in a way that's not really an issue

If you have worn glasses for most of your life. (I could have chosen contacts but to go through that trouble on a daily basis no way man). Those types of conflicts you don't have. The Sunglass/stare at people quandary. So whatever problem that non-lifetime glass wearers are experiencing I cannot relate to. But wait into you go from wearing regular glasses and then you have bi-focal or even tri-focal it is a whole other ballgame.

Mr. Earnhardt i would be curious to know if you would ever consider making an episode where you talk about Nascar videogames and the current state they are in. And without putting iRacing as the option since there are a lot of people who have no interest in that type of game. Something like this is also important for the Nascar brand as Motorsport Games have managed to release the WORST Nascar game in history in Nascar 21 Ignition and there is basically no word from Nascar itself it they even care about the embarrassment and company is with the release of the Nascar Heat 5, 2022 season DLC which BREAKS the game which worked before. Please at some point, consider making an episode about this.
