- For the last two weeks, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been out of the studio but he is BACK today! The first week he was gone, Dale went hunting with Martin Truex Jr. and then the next week he went on vacation for his birthday with Amy and the girls. But Dale's time off didn't go exactly as planned. He ended up getting sick and shared with us how he realizes he takes after his dad when it comes to going to the doctor.

Bruh that’s a terrible take… yes he made grave sacrifices to get his racing career going but once he made it he was a great dad. Jr talks highly of him always. If he was a bad dad none of the kids would idealize him the way they do
@@HeroChampManiche was just emotionally disconnected from all those years of being laser focused on his career. You must be new here because there are multiple episodes where they talk about they new how much he loved them he just didn’t quite know how to show it. There’s friends from his racing days that come on here and tell them the conversations they had together about not knowing how to show the love and affection for his kids. You can’t call him a bad dad when he tried his best to set his kids up for success.
@@HeroChampManic I am not new here, I know Dale Sr. was a bad dad but I think he can still be proud of his kids. He was bad because he never expressed his feelings. That doesn't mean he didn't have feelings.

Pneumonia stinks. I was on a week-long vacation trip to Arizona last December. I had tickets to the Cardinals and New England Patriots game on the final night of our vacation. I ended up in a hospital in Winslow, Arizona, for four days. Not precisely standing on a corner. I got out the day of the game but was advised to not go. So, I watched the game from the hotel room on TV. Two $500 tickets up in smoke, plus four days of vacation wasted. I was in bad shape when my wife convinced me to go to the emergency room. I was on the verge of Sepsis. I am happy you are healthy, Dale.

Yup...my family doctor retired and then the place hooked up with a local hospital and you can no longer just walk right in. You either have to have an appointment or they can TRY to work you in (they have like once). Urgent Care seems to be the way you have to go now for immediate, non-emergency concerns.

It’s tough when your family doctor retires…the search for a new one can be tough. Glad you’re on the mend Jr. And pneumonia is not something to mess around with….A woman I worked with was feeling bad like you were. She didn’t make a lot of money, and her medical coverage was poor…she put off going to the doctor too long. Ended up on oxygen when they released her, but the pneumonia damaged hers lungs, and she passed a few weeks later. Glad you’re doing better!
I don’t know how the two of you do it. I probably still cry about Dale every other month.

Denver, Colorado has a butterfly museum also. My grandkids love it there.
My daughter was sick a few weeks ago. I didn’t call, just took her to her doctor. And even though we needed an appointment, she was willing to accept us. But we had to provide a negative Covid result. And they didn’t provide a test. We left. Took her to urgent care.

It’s the way of the world it seems. I have a primary doctor, but if I have something come up between my checkups I end up at urgent care. My primary doctor’s office puts me on hold when I call when I need to be seen soon. Back and force about fitting me in. Forget that. Urgent care it is.

I don’t even go to doctors offices anymore when I’m sick. I just go right to the emergency room and /or Urgent Care. They usually take care of the problem right there or they can get the problem on the control until you can get to see a special Doctor I wasted a lot of time in the past because I was biased about urgent care too.

It's like that here, you used to be able to just go. Not even have an appointment and eventually get in just by showing up. Now u gotta call in and have to wait for weeks sometimes. And then they only see you for what seems like 5 minutes and done.

My family doctor moved to California so one of his partners took me as a new patient. Next time I called to schedule an appointment that doctor had left. I received a letter from the clinic saying one of the other doctors was taking new patients but it’s going to be a new program. Annual membership was $3000 and the doctor will see you same day if possible. Didn’t sign up for this new country club medical program but several people did. I guess if you want the personalized medical service you have to pay the price.

has a kid back in the 70s, my Dr was an old German man. he would tell me in his broken English, shot feel better 3 days. pills, 2 weeks.. lol.. i would get the shot because i loved and trusted him, he took care of all my stitches, broken bones and surgeries and yes, he would fit me in anytime day or night, from a baby tell i was 21 years old and he retired.
When we were kids (in the 60s), mom always loved when the DR said we'd get a shot in the ass. She didn't want to be givin us pills for days on end. Now us kids weren't too happy about the shot, but we didn't have a vote. Take care. Pneumonia is no joke. Had it when I was 18. Not fun.

That "teleconference" was not going to give you a chest x-ray to find out that you have pneumonia.

I would bet that injection was a injection of Rocephin (ceftriaxone sodium). It is an amazing drug for pneumonia. I had the drug IV and within 24 hours I felt so much better. Glad your on the mend!!

I'm on day 2 of a fever and all over body aches. I'm fairly certain its just a nasty cold. I had pneumonia back in the sixth grade and my family doctor gave me a penicillin shot. 3 days and the pneumonia was gone. I didn't get the shot in the ass it was in the arm but it worked well.

In the sixties, i used to get to tonsillitis all the time. I swear to you when i got the shot in the ass, 45 minutes later I felt better. Why do most places not do that anymore,? Thanks for the video
