I was watching and stopped at 14:29 to say that when I was 18, I was subjected to an horrific attack which was taken to crown court. The man was found not guilty and as a result I ended up in a psychiatric ward, due to the fact that I felt everyone thought I’d made it up, because he’d got away. 16 years later, he did the same to another woman, only this time he went further and killed her. He’s still in prison as far as I know. I just wanted to say that I know the affect that not being believed can have, and I don’t think I would have ended up in psychiatric care if he’d been found guilty. Love your work Emma! 👍🏽 x
Very unfair for you and his other victim.
@@roleat Thankyou yes it’s horrible. The domino affect it had on us as a family is devastating. I pray he’s still locked up🤞🏽
I was of that age in the 1980s and Emma is spot on about the attitude to older abusers and very young girls. In fact I'll go further and say that any condemnation of the relationships was purely focused on the girls and what horrible, cheap little slappers they were. The men were either seen as hapless victims of the malignant motives of some Lolita or, as in the case of Wyman, as studs who could still get young hotties.
The mother of Mandy Smith and her sis allowed tthem run wild too.
@@eliziuimjane8327 by “run wild” do you mean allow older adults to victimize them ?
@@BeckBeckGo No I don't but her Mother allowed them to go to night clubs etc underage , parents have to take accountability too. I'm a survivor of sexual abuse myself so you're misunderstanding my comment I'm a around Mandy's age so I remember the whole Bill Wyman thing.
^being a victim is so common it adds nothing of value to your point. Actually makes you seem daft for criticising the mother and not male predators.
This is absolutely true, sadly.
Only child here... It's definitely a journey figuring out that you aren't the end all be all LOL.
More so just a human thing
Me too.. I think it's more of a trust issue .. we want to cover our back end if... We don't know what unconditional love is ... Sharing trusting being emotionally available.. na.. nope ... Can't .. still a work in process tho😅❤❤❤
I really followed this case closely when it happened because my brother lived round the corner from Sarah Williams and I worked in a shop that was on the same road as the car park they used, I remember the police coming in the shop to get the cctv. This is the best and in depth documentary I've seen in this case.
Ooh the music always makes me excited for the episode.
Agreed! I think it reveals that Emma's got some edge in her!
It’s an awesome song!!!
It’s a great intro hey.
Sadie deserved a much better man. I wonder if she felt that Ian was her last chance, especially since she was older than the “other woman”. I hope Ian feels responsible, because while he didn’t commit the murder, he certainly failed Sadie in crucial ways.
Thank you again! I’ve almost finished all your true crime videos. I play them on my mobile with headphones, put the mobile in my pocket and do house chores. Needless to say, my flat has never been so clean. Thank you! Can’t wait to witness your channel grow even more :)
Same! Headphones, phone in pocket, chores. 😂
Snap 🫰 😂 I am so glad not just me 😂
Emma he is a lot to blame
great vid! And I def appreciate the effort of walking us through the actual crime scene. Nice work
! W
Also taking the time to tell us what a beautiful person she was
I second that.
Agree 100% Emma going to the scene of the crime brought the story of the crime much more alive.....She did that with another one of her videos as well.
It’s ironic it happened on such a beautiful, peaceful street
Love how much detail you go to with the victims as sadly most forget them and only remember their killers
Thanks Emma, love hearing your take on these horrific murders. You leave no stone unturned. As Gruesome and sad they are I'm addicted to these stories. ❤️
Being the armchair psychotherapist that I am, I'm beginning to ask myself:
"What would Emma think/say?"
Well done! Thank you Emma!!!
WWES 👍
Yes I'm fairly new to a subscription with Emma but I find when I watch true crimes on other channels I start wondering what extra details Emma can tell
All your videos bring a new perspective on cases and allow your viewers to understand the case more so than a 10-15 minute vague video would. I love how you allow us to see for ourselves the crime scene/neighbourhood in which these tragic events occured and describe the effect some cases have had on you personally. You're an incredible psychologist and a really inspirational female role model. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to your new content.
Also it feels great to have a true crime channel which uploads content consistently
I forgot Wednesday was an episode thank god I checked x
I do blame Ian. Another great video Emma.
Thank you for speaking so highly of what a lovely person Sadie was, I didn't have the pleasure of knowing her personally but she was a long time friend of my Uncles and I know he was so shocked and devastated by her mist awful and unexpected murder. I send much love to her family.
I’ve watched lots of documentaries about this case but yours was so detailed it was like a different story! Brilliant 👏🏻
I ALWAYS ask myself that question about houses that saw such horror. I grew up not too far from the house that had been the victims of Arthur Hutchinson where he murdered them.
Yes, those houses must keep some of that negative energy in them. Quite spooky xx
58:50 I couldn’t help laughing at Katrina Walsh! 😂😂😂 I haven’t finished listening to Emma’s recount, but I’ve watched other docos on this case, and Kit Walsh is hilarious. Pretending she has no memory, yet remembering to tell the police this within the first few minutes of her arrival at the police station. Plus, because of her supposed limited recall, she kept years of diaries. In the other doco I watched about this, you saw Kit W’s handwriting, and I’m quite good at analysis of personality through writing, regardless of the words. It was possible to tell how manipulative and scheming Kit is, through her writing. But yeah, the memory loss deception, priceless! I’m off to carry on listening to Emma now! 😀😀
Katrina always scared me more than Sarah. Her childlike glee at the murder plotting gives me the shivers.
I agree- shuffling in the station and rocking on the floor 😅
She certainly looks a lot scarier than Williams, and like a man 🤣
@@christopherdavis4135 `I never meant anything vaguely to do with transphobia by my comment. Just that she was not very plausible. You can be a scheming manipulative B word, and it have nothing to do with your perceived gender, FYI I have blocked every word Emma says, because I thing she is homophobic. For example she tweeted, during COVID 19, that the vaccine was likely to make you HIV Positive. The the facts are that a good deal of research that went into treating HIV, went into the COVID Vaccine. The vaccine won't give you HIV, as she said, but the research into viruses such as HIV, went into making sure that the COVID vaccine was an effective one. Which it has been proven to be correct.
She also told the story of a kid who went to a Catholic school near her, made a pass at another boy, after the kid had made up false pretences to lure him to his house. The kid was obviously attracted to his friend, and made a pass at the boy. When the kid refused it turned into a fight during which the victim was unfortunately killed. The perpetrator was obviously in the wrong, but Emma did no digging as to why the school and the Catholic education they were both receiving, did not provide for positive images of gay people. Of course, the kid shouldn't have been killed, but what was the school's responsibility in this? I think they bear a fair brunt of the responsibility. This is why I've blocked her, and I don't take anything she says seriously anymore,
Im currently working my way through all these true crime videos, I would love to see you cover the James Bulger story. Id like to hear your views on this one.
Absolutely brilliant Emma. I wasn't aware that I even knew about this case but as soon as I heard you mention the flower delivery to confirm identity and stun gun, I realised I did remember seeing it on the news. Also the photo of them side by side looked very familiar. Now let's be brutally honest......you don't easily forget those two faces that would scare the hell out of the Munsters and Adams Family combined lol. Thank you for all your hard work and unrelenting effort x
Yes Emma, we love u up here in Scotland, one love💚💚💚
@@sharoncox4776 she lives near the crime scene! It's her personal opinions her fans like. Let's face it, if she was a boring man in a suit the fans would be elsewhere.
Need to start this from the beginning hard to resist joining the live premiere!
same
Can you join Emma live at the time her latest vid is released?
Absolutely ADORE this judge
I watched this on telly with the Mrs and we were like "she's got memory problems and yet she knew the exact location of where she hid the knife"
And she remembered she had a memory problem 🙃
I've always been fascinated by these two women and their antics. What a pair.😱
Thank you Emma and Pete. I missed the premiere but caught up this morning. Really enjoyed it when we left the studio to get footage of the crime scene. Brilliant. I had to put live chat on so I could read everyone’s comments. This is a great little community and I’m sorry I missed you all, see you Sunday xx
I was raped, tortured, & under mind control from 5 to 11 years old by my uncle… He was in the Army. He split my mind… & I was so numb after awhile. I still get flashbacks… I had to go through years of Therapy & Counseling. Only ONE therapist knew how to help people with mind control. She helped me a lot. I’m a Rape & Domestic Violence Survivor. Now a Victim’s Advocate. I tell people my story so I can help others. Mind control is very real. I don’t know what happened in the Army with my uncle, but he’s a monster!
Sending so much love. Em xx
I feel you beut! I didn't report my dad till I was 19!!! He hung himself in prison, sending hugs and love your way, keep strong,😳💚🌈💖💕
Thanks again Emma. I loved that you took us to the street where it happened. Made it real. That poor woman and her family so sad xx
I'm just on the first few minutes and had to say loosing a parent in a traumatic way really does change you. My mum didn't die traumatically but suddenly In February. She went in hospital Friday and had died by Wednesday after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. No one could see her, she was confused from liver failure so wasn't talking on the phone and we had been told a few weeks so I had planned to go 250 miles to stay with her on the Thursday. I didn't make it before she died and have so many questions, regrets, whys and how did she feel in my head that its not getting easier 5 months on. The worst was clearing her house which had been left as if she was returning with the morning tea on the coffee table and the letters she had opened before she left for the hospital. Its changed me and my siblings.
At first I thought I hadn't heard of this case, but, as it unfolded I realised that I had. However I only remembered bits of the case. One thing is for sure, I will never forget Emma's excellent presentation of this hideous crime.
Emma has great insight into the human psyche brain development and explorers nature versus nurture. I am so grateful that I found your channel. Take some time and look around you’ll find some calming meditation. These cases can get heavy and it’s nice to take a break.
Emma’s True Crime Wednesday’s gets me trough the rest of the week ! 😅 hump day just got a little easier to bear.
I concur. ☺️🕵🏽👩🏼💻
again very good EM all the way from Ireland 🇮🇪👏 Don't be showing where you are on the map EM 😀you know what there like 😉looking forward to Sunday OXOX
So I guess we have something in common, being from Florida I can literally walk you to show where terrible crimes have happened just down the street. Thank you for amazing content Emma I wait anxiously for Weds and Sunday! Xx
I first saw you Emma on a tv program about the Philpots years and years ago. Since then I’ve watched everything you’ve been in because I love hearing your take on a criminals mind.
I’d have gone on to do criminal psychology had I not had a baby mid way through my Alevels.
When you started UA-cam I was thrilled, you made lock down a bit easier to deal with. Your sensitivity and care to the victims and the families and friends of the victims is something which I hope, if they ever came across anything you’ve done, they can say, at least Emma’s done her best with the facts.
Sunnybank is literally 10 mins from where I was brought up so this case felt especially close to my heart as well.
Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
Poor Sadie 😞 your description of her makes me feel the loss of a very good person. So sorry for her loss.
It was just so unnecessary. Sarah and Kit are evil, vile people.
@@melissam597 horrific people
Mr. Justice Turner was almost poetic in his summing up comments
Even if I have already heard about a lot of these cases, you always bring something different which is so good. Thank you ☺️
Well Emma you have done it again. Another fantastic case. I’ve seen this case a few times. But yet again you are awesome and do all the pre case stuff I never knew about. Just epic. Thanks Emma. Have an awesome evening cheers Craig x
Funny enough I just saw this on Deadly Women a week before you covered this Emma and they left out so much of the case, thank you for all your hard work you do on these cases. I don’t know how and where you get your information from but you always give us more juicy bits then the tv shows, I am very much appreciative of all your time and effort that goes into bringing these to us, love it and thank you so much Emma 😍
I do sometimes worry about how often you state things are very nearby where you live, purely from an online safety perspective
Thankyou for Caring. I have a fast response unit on my home anyways due to trolls sharing my address online. I also have my husband and two very large and ripped sons , cctv and dogs so we should be fine. You are lovely though . Em xxx
Loving my Wednesday’s! X💕
Gosh Emma, such beautiful surrounds and a despicable crime, well done it adds to the sense of drama
New fave true crime channel! Love that you walked us through the crime scene 👌🏼 insane to imagine such a horrible crime taking place on such a lovely peaceful street
Thanks Emma for another great video. I had already seen another video on this horrific case, but your video is far more in depth and I learnt a lot more details than I had previously ! Keep em coming lass. Brilliant work and you're great !!
that is the most heinous mugshot I’ve ever seen omg
Wednesday and Sundays have become my favorite days of the week thanks to you Emma. That's my "me time" my wine,my headphones and Emma
Great analysis as always, and I appreciate you making it real by going to the scene of the tragedy.
Didn't know anything about this case. A real treat to get your in-depth analysis on something brand new to me. Thanks Emma.
Absolutely heart breaking story. Thank you for another great video with such deep insight.
Another great video Emma. I really like it when you get to walk us through the locations. Really brings it all home and your storytelling and observations are excellent. Hope we get to see more of that in future!
Iv watched this 3 times already, I love how you intensely narrate it all through , great vid Em keep em comin ❤️❤️
Brilliant Stuff Em... I've been aware of this case for years, being from 'oop North' too... but never seen anyone go into as much background though. Thanks for this. You're hitting your stride now eh?! I love your approach and the many Emma-isms in your deliveries! Much love x Thanks
Great! I thought the Jodi arias episode was excellent thanks so much.
Thank you for covering this case 💜 your analysis is always brilliant
Fantastic work! Really enjoyed the back story.
Amazing content emma! Love that you showed us around where the crime took place
You are excellent!! You say everything most people are feeling, also I was so excited when I seen you had a channel, it's so refreshing to see you swear and just say it how it is. I love these crimes videos please make more!! Very passionate about how bad the crimes are and compassionate to the victims too. So excited to watch more!
Another fabulous video, appreciate all the effort and insight ❤️
This is the first one I’ve missed, but so glad that I can now catch up!
Emma Kenney if you are reading this, I love your videos so much, I save the Sunday episode for when I’m getting chemo on Tuesdays and Wednesday episode for when I’m sick in bed. I love your point of view. Thank you for your brilliant work xx
I hope your chemo works and you live a long and happy life. Emma rocks.
Thank you Jo, I’m sticking around for the cure 😉
Another informative, great video. Thankyou for being so respectful and kind towards the victim, you are always so respectful towards them! Thankyou for continuing to do these videos! Xx
I'm an only child, adopted. So close to my parents, and my Father in particular. His death transformed my life for sure. I found him passed away from a heart attack. My mental health has suffered.. But l'm the opposite of a narcissist... A complete people pleaser... Fascinating
I had to wait until it was not live but I'm excited for this video! Thanks for posting again.
Awesome and intense presentation Em!! Thank you again!! God bless.
LOVED the location footage! 😘👌✨

Emma I just want to say thank you for bringing a level of professionalism, realism and unique perspective. As a fan of channels like That Chapter and Disturban...I think you offer a unique insight...saulte.. ❤
I live just by this girl and I’ve never heard this story, madness. Thank you Emma love your work and passion ❤️
Love this! I had no idea about this channel. I love watching you in documentaries.
What a tragic heinous murder. As always, your thorough commentary and analogy is invaluable Emma. The judge in this case definitely gave a fitting sentence. Slightly restored my faith in the justice system. Thank you Emma, looking forward to your next episode 🌹
@@mauricepollard6171 no point in me making a comment if I don’t know much about the case. I’m certainly by no means an expert. I just try to understand all the relevant facts. 👍🏻

Another brilliant insight into a crime Emma x
Another brilliant job emma!!! Really engaging! Love your channel xx
I'm never disappointed watching these. Every video just gets better and better (not that it wasn't great to start with!). I mean, getting those quality shots at the scene of the crime? Brilliantly done Emma!
Another fascinating and just so brilliantly presented video from the incredibly talented and beautiful Emma Kenny 👏
Oh Emma... what a truly heartbreaking case. That poor woman. As someone with paranoia.... its people like this which makes me so so paranoid of everyone...
Truly awful. Xx
Thank you for this video its the first thing i've heard of this case it is always sad to hear of people dying so violent like this poor victim thanks for sharing Emma
Sadie was too good for any of these people.
Listening to you described how she was killed I just started sobbing. Sarah's level of absolute evil is a bit too much for me to even understand. That after everything she'd done Sadie still opened the door to her, maybe willing to listen to her and to make amends, and Sara's response was to murder her so, so brutally. The way she did it shows that she really wanted Sadie to go through intense feelings of pain and betrayal as she was attacked, as she lay dying. Absolutely unforgivable.
Amazing job as always Emma ❤️ the walk around her neighborhood was so sad 😞
Great vid totally appreciate the effort made and extra bonus of taking us to the exact place it took place god bless u
Ive seen this heartbreaking case on tv and i have to say as usual in all your cases u add something unique and different to each one and more indepth information that is never shown on tv.Brillant account of this one.Extremley brutal and sick people there is no words for them but im very glad they got what they deserved.please carry on making your videos i enjoy watching them.
Another fantastic episode. Thank you Emma.
38.40 i nearly lost it! This man is awful. Poor beautiful innocent Sadie. She deserved so much better.
Nitwit just doesn’t get used enough anymore but it’s such a perfect description 😂
The breakdown on this case you've done was masterful. I completely enjoyed it. Thank you tremendously. - ps: from Oklahoma USA we love you!
Skitters down my spine from Emma's rendition of Mr Justice Turner's condemnation 😶 superlative in delivery and wording, I'm in awe 👌
I've never been called up for jury service but I'd be the Same... went no comment throughout interview with the cops .. GUILTY!! Haha !
So happy I've discovered your channel !
I've just discovered your channel, I am so glad! I love to watch true crime, as I've always aspired to be a forensic scientist. wasn't able to due to family commitments.
love your channel, and going to binge watch all your videos lol.
Brilliant video, really enjoyed this one. 👍
Excellent perspective, brilliant! 👌
I remember this case, but have nevertheless, learned so much, from this video! To be able to see, where it happened and to hear, in such detail, not only what happened, but how and why it occurred, is really excellent. I totally respect the Judge’s words and just hope that the message got through to them, although sadly I doubt it. I’m so glad that they got the sentences they did and that they can’t be halved for good behaviour, as they deserve every single day of it! Thanks so much Emma!
Awwww I love this one Emma 👍 it's so sad what they did to her 😭😭😭😭 love you xxxxxxxx
