I Tried to Finish Every Quest Before Sumeru... It was a mistake [Genshin Impact]

- Genshin Impact is soon releasing Sumeru with 3.0. With just a couple days left, I decided to try and finish up as many quests as I could so I'd be ready to take on Sumeru as soon as it came out... Unfortunately, I didn't get through quite as many as I hoped or expected.
However, we did get through Enkanomiya and part 1 of the Chasm, as well as quite a couple other quests. I know this isn't Swords or Spells only, which is what most people want to see, but I figure while I continue to farm on those accounts, I'd make some content on the Raiden account since I've been enjoying it recently.
This was the result of about 10 hours of livestreams over 2 days...

This is literally my nightmare, thats why I usually force myself to do quests so they dont stack up like that
the one quest I have sitting in my journal not finished is the tsurumi world quest, because I truly hate that place. I *hate* it.
Yes I do that too, and people complain about not enough content lmao.
My friend complains how she doesn’t have anything to do in the game. She hasn’t done half the quests in the game :/

Yeah a lot of people are talking about this now that Sumeru is coming and I gotta admit.. I feel happier than ever that I am a loot whore and I complete every quest relatively early.

One of the first quests I rushed was Enkonynomia. I was just so excited to unlock the boss there and finally Ascend my Yae Miko who was stuck at Level 40 for way too long. Now she is my main, but that Enkonynomia quest was a pain because of how much I rushed it.
for me it is chasm world quest because i need to ascend my Yelan lol
I rushed Enkanomiya so much, but it was just for the event. (2.5, I believe?) I had just reached Inazuma recently at that time and I really wanted to start because in 2.4 the day I unlocked Lantern Rite also happened to be the day Lantern Rite ended.. which was sad.
me except it was yoimiya, i got her on her first banner. i was in mondstadt still doing early ar quest like abyss mage. i was using lvl 40 yoimiya to fight childe, the angy dragon dvalin,and also signora too because i was speedrunning quest, i did not give a f. i speedran all quest, not a single dialogue read.after inazuma i started doing quest at normal speed, on my alt i also started focusing more on the story, currently pretty chill :D
I rushed because my I lost my old account and I already read all the dialog multiple times
This is what happens when you try to avoid doing quests and suddenly you have to do like 80 of them, i did that, thankfully, my quests are cleared out now after much effort.
What sucks the most of the quest are unbearable. Like idc how many i have as long as i can complete the quest without watching tutorials

A while ago I set out to do all the quests currently in the game. It was going really well, I hit a rhythm and finished mondstadt and Liyue no problem. Then came inazuma. Fun fact: roughly a third of inazumas quests are locked behind daily commissions! I think my having more keqings than event characters should give you an idea of how that’s going for me.

And then there are follow up daily commissions for the original daily commissions and alternative dialog choices that give you like different commissions next but you have to get them all or the world quest won‘t show up

i went on a quest completing spree a couple months ago where i took all the world quests id been building up and completed every single world quest. i then proceeded to 100% exploration every single area of every region. i remember i was pissed about not having a polearm billet to get the dragonspine spear.

I LOVE speedrunning quests. I 100% the Three Realms Gateway Offering in 1-2 days after I got back from 1 year long hiatus. After all my quests are done I searched up hidden quests and do them too. Sadly now I have nothing to do....

take your time, dude, there's no rush
don't make it seem like a deadline because that'll cause burn out
if it helps, i believe* you only need the archon quests finished

I finished all the half done quests… then realized I have items in my inventory that are part of the story that don’t have the quest notifications. Soo I have to now google each item and see if its just a keepsake or a half done quest/ task
I've been doing the same thing recently to guarantee a zhongli, after grinding quests for 2 weeks I'm at 69 pity with 9100 primos, I think I will be able to get him even if I lose the upcoming 50/50.

same, I've completed almost every world quest in the game, all the archon quests, all story quests except Kazuha, and all hangout quests besides Heziou and Sayu, which I'm currently working on. So excited for Sumeru!

3:06 actually, literally the only requirement to quick-start the 3.0 event is the first act of mondstadt; sumeru most likely isn't gonna be quest gated like inazuma
There's no way I'm exploring Sumeru with my potato phone so this quick-start thing is nice but I have no idea what it is...

About a month ago I had the realization that I would have to do quests for sumeru so I did 2 archon quests, 32 world quests and it was painful so it must have been so annoying to do and especially tiring

That's the trick. You have a hierarchy of quests because there are quests that clear the region so you can explore it. I always try to keep up with quests. There are minor world quests I have to do but the important things are always updated

If anyone cares I have like 3 left. I went through the interactive map twice and couldn't find it. I'll just get up my reputation to 8 and craft three resonance stones
When doing inazuma archon quest, every time I saw one on the map I’d mark it with a pin to collect later. Maybe for Sumeru you should do the same so you won’t have any trouble next time!
Craft electro locator or watch video. Plus is your Sakura tree max out cuz finding hidden chests helped me out a few weeks ago to max Sakura tree and statue

I no longer feel bad about my quest queue 😭🤣 I have like 5 quests total I think and some of them are in Enkanomiya and I've been too busy in the Archipelago to deal with them. But I rushed the last quests I had there too.

13:44 There are Abyss Heralds and Abyss Lectors. The Abyss Lectors are more stationary. They don’t move. Currently, the only Abyss Lectors are the Pyro and Electro Lectors. There is only one type of Abyss Herald right now, and that is the Hydro Abyss Herald. So you were not completely wrong!

This is why I'm very grateful with the "quick start" option we have now. Otherwise I'll need to complete tons of characters' story quest just for half a pull 🥲I always keep my quests tab as clean as possible and won't accept random quest unless I know I will finish it

don't worry about quests. I believe the sumeru archon quest is only locked behind inazuma archon quest

Nahhh i was tryna get artifacts for kaeya specifically blizzard strayer and i found out that I haven’t even unlocked the domain for it and for that i had to complete the in the mountains quests that I had been ignoring😭 it took me 2 hours and in the end I didn’t even run the domain dawg💀
hey Java i learned something that could help you with Swords only, when fighting the geo cube if you place Lumines construct under the hypostatis while its spawning the pillars it wont spawn them in, felt this could help as its quite a pain for you to deal with them
I really like Paimon and the idea that she is our voices. Albedo całości her lije that in his latest Dragospain's event. But when they made her voice really really squeaky, I lost the pleasure that talking with her gave.

I do all my quests immediatly on my main account, but on the other hand my second account is just full of uncomplited quests and i can’t find a time where i can do them all. I have actually time lol but i just immediatly run out of patience while clicking through them. Wish hoyo would add a skip button. On my main i never skip dialogue but having a skip feature would really help me save time.
I was doing the exact same thing, ran out of keys, noticed it was tomorrow, thought we were going on to 2.9 so I'd have more time, i want to cry

Luckily I just do some entry level quests to unlock bosses and regions so the quests left are pretty much free ...like not gating anything

It's crazy how much time the questing can take. I want to mop all up before Fontaine but I swear that's not gonna happen. What's crazy to me is that searching UA-cam for top 10 important world quests and similar queries return no relevant results, despite the many content creators. I wanna do the most important ones first, then prob the shortest. The annoying thing about lots of quests is how they take characters and places hostage.
