    How to meditate every day and how to meditate well is something people have asked me in the past. I've had a daily meditation practice for the past 10 years and I have to say...Meditation is changing my life.
    My meditation practice has become so routine when I don't meditate, I have high levels of stress and anxiety.
    Meditation isn't something extravagant where you strive to reach enlightenment. Meditation is something way simpler than that.
    In this video I answer the questions:
    - How to meditate everyday
    - How to reduce stress and anxiety through meditation
    - How to build a meditation habit that actually works
    - How meditation changed my life
    - My 3 biggest lessons I've learned from meditation
    Enjoy!

      Fun fact : I was first taught meditation in the basement of a convent (the stone basement was cooler and quieter than the unairconditioned school so she took the class there.) Consider this was 40 years ago. Progressive nun.

    Excellent explanation of handling meditating in 'real world' circumstances, accepting the distractions as part of the experience instead of resisting them. Instead of trying to explain this to others I'll just refer them to this video 😀

    What a powerful message! I’ve meditated everyday for many years now and I can attest how radically it’s changed who I am and my entire life. Thanks for sharing your experience! A big thing to remember is not even to call a meditation experience “bad” - ascribing value judgments to a meditation practice is to believe there’s an end goal or a vision of what “good” looks like - which there isn’t, as you mentioned. Try not to get too attached to the feeling you experience from meditation, because the good feeling quickly fades away, but the act of practice will still change everything. Looking forward to the next vid😀

    I loved this one! Maybe I should start incorporating meditation into my daily routine. I once heard that meditation is like watching cars go down the highway. You can acknowledge your thoughts and flying down that highway in front of you, but you let them pass naturally instead of trying to chase them

    • @CuriosityCulture
      @CuriosityCulture  4 роки тому +1

      Yeah exactly.. you can’t stop the thoughts but you can try to accept that they won’t go away.. 😂🤪
