    As black as that oil was, I bet all they needed was an oil change. Dirty oil makes the cvvt system go nuts to the point the car stalls and knocks like something's broken.

    Why was the gear replaced,trouble codes or noises? The engine looks extremely clean inside and well maintained don't know why the CVVT would go bad
