i’m so happy i found this tutorial !!!! i got it now !!! i’ve been trying to wrap my head around this for SO long ! turns out my hand was facing the wrong way for behind the head !!
Hahaha😂 I was so concentrated looking at your video that once your dogg start making a youning-noise I actually jumped of being scared 😂 thought there was a dogg in the house or something😅
I honestly have watched this several times even on .25 speed and I simply just don’t understand how the thumb leading hand works. Everytime I do it my palm ends up facing the wrong way. I feel like it’s impossible to do without flipping the hand at all but everytime I watch you do it your hand doesn’t flip and then all of a sudden it’s facing a different direction like it just popped off and came back facing differently. It just isn’t clicking and I have no clue wtf I’m doing wrong
I highly recommend watching Rems Fire Fan tutorial series, video 1 if you haven't already. This move is essentially just 2 weaves put together. And the thumb leading weave is the most basic weave. Once you have the 4 beginner weaves down, so many more moves will open up for you. When doing the weave around your shoulder, you're making a half circle behind your shoulder, before bringing it back down in front of your body. Try doing the motion without the fan first and see if you can see and feel what you're doing wrong. Lastly, really focus on your wrist and shoulder mobility. Really make sure you're warming up those joints and muscles. Russian fan spinning it hard on your body and requires mobility in order to do the moves correctly. You'll get it down! I hope this helps
I realllllly don't think this is a beginner move. I also have flat grips so they don't spin quite like Russian grips do, so maybe it feels considerably harder due to the grips. That said this is a great tutorial, you break things down nice and thoroughly. Thank you for making it!
If you know your basic weaves, this is essentially just the combination of 2 of them which is why I put it as beginner. Weaves were the first thing I learned but most tech grips don't usually learn them at first. And thanks for the positive feedback! 😀
This is the most concise and clear version of this move I have seen. THANK YOU!!

What kind of fans are these ?

Definitely! I do it all the time
the instruction says to have a straight arm, but the in the demo, the arm is bent....
You keep your arms as straight as possible to get the biggest extension. Sorry my arm is slightly bent.
