- Half-Life 2 Alone Mod takes place in the usual City 17 that we're used to, but with a twist: everyone, and I mean everyone, is gone. No Combine, no citizens, nothing-just all gone without a trace, leaving a dark and eerie atmosphere.

the mod using self esteem fund, arguably one of the best ambient and best songs in the original portal, is a really nice touch in my opinion, it really fits

Wouldn't really be all that far fetched for this scenario to play out if the Gman didn't pay close attention to the year and summarily screwed up the timing.
this got me wonder if someone made a version of half-life 2 into a walk simulator with zero dialogue and placed someone that never played it how much of the story they would get from it

What is the purpose of this mod? The time of day is changed to evening-ish and just running around in a completely empty world, the only thing what happens is the player breaks some planks and boxes, but that's it.
It gives creepy vibes, not everything has to have a purpose to feel cool okay
It exists for the people that want it.
I made it for the aesthetic not for the fun of stuff
