I know this is a joke (the player's HUD is a different shade of yellow and the guns have no ammo icon) but these secrets actually feel natural, like Valve themselves would put them there. Good stuff lol
You can notice at 1:35 when he hit the zombie with the crowbar, it collided with the corpse and caused a hit mark. In HL2, when you kill NPC’s they become ragdolls, and in Gmod, they become ”Corpses”.

Either way, I'm pretty sure all the manually placed ragdolls in HL2 are serverside prop_physics entities that have collision, so this checks out if it were to be real, because they might as well have placed a prop_ragdoll there instead of a zombie NPC lol

Hey, I didn't know whether to wait to tell you this but... I faked all of these secrets in GMod. I made this video with the plan of tricking someone into thinking they were real, and I guess I succeeded.
@@toyoprev I was able to tell it's Gmod within the first ten seconds due to the fast deploy animations and slow gravity gun prong closing, so I was immediately suspicious.
Im a huge half life fan and know almost everything about it, but I never knew about the Gman sighting you just showed and im surprised honestly. I know about the other Gman sightings in the Game but not the one in Ravenholm, thank you for sharing it with us
This brought me heaps of nostalgia, and it would be hilarious if you wasted someones time with the melon in a crate. I love this format, its authentic as hell. Keep doing it!
You made me remember that when we get the revolver there are some containers and you can exit the map through there, I don't remember exactly how but there is a kind of hole in the ground that allows you to see outside the map. It is hidden among the containers.
This is the kind of thing you’d see uploaded on one of Anomidae’s alt accounts with something relating to the Interloper mystery hidden 6 minutes into the video
Also here’s some commands to make it more authentic for the future: sv_defaultdeployspeed 1 - makes the weapon switch speed slower hud_deathnotice_time 0 - disables the killfeed in the top right sv_gravity 800 - increases the gravity to that of the original HL2
And on the workshop there’s a few mods you can download to do things like bring back the HEV voice, ammo pickup indicators, make your camera fall to the ground when you die like in HL2, and to replace the viewmodel weapons with the original low quality HL2 versions
i remember when i was trying to build a ladder out of barrels in the sewers (where was a lot of manhacks), because i forgot about valve on the bottom, barrels just keep exploding and killing me, and i wasn's even trying to get out of the map! but here is sure, 100% legit ladders, would not explode.

I uploaded a vid about chapter water hazard where you have a straight part with drop ships dropping some CP's there is this broken Breencast screen showing G-man with a skull above his head. It flashed by in bright red for a brief second, I was so intrigued by this and never found out how or why it was there (I remember that it is shown again somewhere later in the game).

Cool! Didn't know any of those! I figured out, that you can re-enter the lighthouse after leaving to the cliff pass. You need to take the crates with you before jumping down. Ones you did, you can get back up and see shots firing out of mid air. Should should try that. Also there is another G-man on a TV whith strange music. I don't remeber where but it was in destroyed City 17, maybe in "Follow Freeman" or after the museum strider fight. Ah yes and you can find a Vortigaunt, living in a cave, after you destroyed the helicopter.
When i was playing this game i always tried to go somewhere where is invisible wall just to see is there anything interesting and i always wanted to come to second citizen in mission highway 17 in the beginning of the mission but i was never succeed in that. Thank you for the video of about 5 easter eggs i must try that all, only problem would be that i have original game and you have like i can see a mod so it may not work that in my game, but I'll try.
there is also a secret from if u shoot the woman in the machine in chapter 7: lost coast with a rocket laucher (first use the command "sv_cheats 1" and then use the command "give weapon_rpg) then she will do cool moves
I think she is a cycler npc I don't know if the cyclers were used in development or smth so I don't think it is a secret I think it is just something Valve didn't think people would find.
I think it is just the npc was not programmed to have pain animations or something like that so instead of loading that animation it just goes to a random animation and cycles through it

I play half life 2 since I was younger and I never knew the gman was in the map raven home that's crazy I didn't even knew he was in this map intill today find it creppy tough half life 1 and 2 he stocks you everywhere you go

It doesn't really matter cause the whole videos fake. I was trying to play off of those videos that go "can you see it?" And its like a creepy ghost that you can barely see. if you look closely theres a very small sliver of a citizen poking out of the column in the back

In the unfinished apartment looking areas, if you stack stuff up to the normally inaccessible third floor, you’ll get a rocket launcher, but if you go through the hallway up there, you’ll see a umbrella man at the end of the hall. very cool.
