Join us this week as we continue our journey through the breath-taking Litchfield National Park! Our first stop is the enchanting Buley Rockpools, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of the park. Discover why this tranquil oasis is our top pick among all the waterholes we've explored here.
Next, we delve into the fascinating world of the Magnetic Termite mounds, unraveling the secrets behind these architectural wonders of nature. Prepare to be amazed as we uncover their unique characteristics and learn about their role in the ecosystem.
After The Lost City, our adventure takes an unexpected turn as we stumble upon Greenant Creek, a gorgeous hidden waterway waiting to be discovered. Join us as we immerse ourselves in the serenity of this pristine environment.
But the surprises don't end there! We then venture to Blyth Homestead, an abandoned historic house with a fascinating tale to tell. Explore with us as we delve into the past owners' lives and learn about their 14 children through a fantastic book of information.
Our last stop for the day is Sandy Creek, where we had originally planned a 3.4km walk. However, exhausted from a jam-packed day of exploration, we decided to take a well-deserved break and soak in the beauty of our surroundings.
