Nice snapper off the rocks bro. 48cm the way we measure them in New Zealand. What's the point of a reel with no drag? Your excitement is infectious. Thanks
Hey Joe Alvey reels and the non drag model I use. The drag is using your fingers or palm of your hand on the side of the spool when a large enough fish need to be given line. You can increase or decrease pressure according to how much drag you need to apply. More complex but a lot of fun and challenging. Thanks heaps for watching mate 😎👍

Hey Brett Thanks for liking the video much appreciated mate. Not sure about the lack of snapper down your way. Royal national park, coal cliff. Looks amazing there. Sydney can be a tough gig. Very heavily fished

Hey Walter I get them before and after a big blow. There are times they are in good numbers inshore so a sharp barometric drop or a bug blow not needed.
Awesome video as usual Alex Mate was that early morning or late arvo as it was low light What do you usually prefer and combined with what tides ?? Also what sort of depth do you usually look for as I could see plenty of white water Sorry for so many questions
Thanks very much Michael The lower light periods are best. Being a deeper water species they will venture in closer off the rocks to feed during these periods.
