Deoxys' status is more referred to as a legendary now but I understand why there is still confusion with that one. Arceus is basically the start of the mythical section rather than the end of the legendary section
With Melmetal featuring in the Mythical section then, was it always considered that or a case of not really sure where else to place it?
@@etherealcarnival Deoxys has always been classified as a Mythical pokemon. But it is also catchable in-game without any distribution event item in ORAS, so some people might now view it as a legendary. But Keldeo is also catchable in the wild in Galar, and afaik it is still considered mythical. Also, in Pokemon Go, Deoxys is in the Mythical category

1000 pokemon.... Pokemon has really come a LONG way now! Seeing all of these pokemon is very nostalgic, tried naming them all without pausing but yeah... Not possible for me lol but anyways this is truly amazing! The journey was a fantastic experience. Love you pokemon!!!
I've been here since day 1. I'm 31 years old and this series has been a part of my life for basically as far back as coherent memories. Pokemon is a special franchise unlike any others. It is here to stay, and I'll continue adding to my collection! (So how about that SV-Home update yeah?)
I’ve said it before but to all those who caught, traded, evolved, battled, and seen them all, all the fire, grass, water, normal, flying, bug, rock, poison, electric, ground, steel, ice, fighting, psychic, dark, ghost, fairy and dragon types, all the starters, all the mythical, all the legendaries, all the unique forms, all the evil teams we’ve fought with these Pokemon, and to whatever the future holds beyond Gen 9! I salute you all! HERES TO WHATEVER POKEMON MAY HOLD FOR THE FUTURE!😆

Gholdengo isn't one of my favorites from gen 9, but the fact they made the 1000th Pokemon golden is pretty awesome and fitting for the milestone.
I specially like the fact that gimmighoul is number 999 and it evolves with 999 coins into the long awaited pokemon 1000

I love the Pokémon games, anime, TCG, and everything Pokémon as me being young it is crazy one of my favorite franchise is 26 years old and has more than 1000 Pokémon thanks to everyone who made anything Pokémon.

I'm glad that I've been alive for the entirety of the Pokémon franchise up until this point. Never in my mind as a child growing up with these fantastical creatures would I think we would reach over 1000 different species. I think that is the true magic of Pokémon that they continue to keep being apart of the lives of children all over the world even when I'm gone. I take no credit in their creation but if I could I would gladly thank Mr. Satoshi Tajiri, Mr. Ken Sugimori, and Mr. Junichi Masuda for all the wonderful memories and friendships I've developed in my 33 years of life.

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are my favourites in Nintendo Switch because I liked the characters and the background scenery designs as they're becoming a lot better than the Pokemon games from Nintendo 3Ds. They even have a DLC later on as the adventure in the Galar Region continued in Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra with more Pokemon returning.

I remember being a kid and playing Crystal in the back of my family car during a road trip. It was night and I had to use a mini light so I could see what I was doing. I am now 28 years old and still playing pokemon to this day. A franchise close to my heart and I cannot deny getting very emotional watching that video. it's like going through the journey. Cheers, Pokemon, I'll be by your side until I am unable to hold a console to play haha!

Pokemon X and Pokemon Y are my very first Nintendo 3Ds games back in 2014 that I've played which got me starterd to liked the Pokemon games. I also like Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon as well the improved version Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon because there's alot going on in the games with special features.
You should try the older games
Every Pokémon equivalent trough generations and the other available species for over 26 years

I think with the video titled 1008 encounters and all, since you can't actually catch Mega pokemons with a PokeBall and all, they're more treated like a form change in battle. Gigantamax Pokemons are also not included in the video too for example.
Tho then again, there's also stuff like different castform and Meloetta forms etc which they've shown, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I guess no gimmicks included situation instead ha-ha

just watched it and it was AMAZING. finally reaching 1000 pokemon (1008) is such a huge milestone, I think that making gimmighoul 999th pokemon is fitting because you need 999 gimmighoul coins for it to evolve.

... What I mean by that is that Digimon also did this exact same thing; capping off a franchise milestone with a new powerful golden creature.
For their 20th Anniversary, they created Zubamon. A legendary living weapon Digimon decked out in golden armor. It even had a goofy catchphrase; _"I am the Twentiest!"_
