- With the Asus Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti V2 MINI 8GB, Asus managed to produce the best small form factor SFF compatible GPU in 2021. Being exactly 20cm long, this tiny 3060ti Graphics Card should be able to deliver the perfect gaming experience while not requiring its own house. Let's take a short look at it and see if selling my soul was worth it.

I just got this card, but I have trouble getting it quiet. Did you get yours done in MSI afterburner, or is it just because of the open testbench?
Thanks for the video, I plan to do a build with the intertech im1 pocket and that card and was always asking, what about the noise and temperatures. Are you able to compare the asus 3060 ti against the 3060 ti founders eddtion? Would be really cool, anyway thanks!
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it.
I would love to do that, but we don't have any founder editions cards. Or any other 3060ti's. Right now we're limited to our 3070 Vision, 3060ti Asus Dual Mini & 3060 Aero ITX when it comes to RTX 3000 cards.
If that changes some day, we'll definitely include noise and temperature comparisons.
Just got a prebuilt with this card inside, it’s an absolute beast and the oc is good, I got +250 core and +500 memory running at 77’c under heavy load. It reaches 2000mhz at times 😍
Glad to hear! Congratz.
Enjoy it :)
How quiet is it?
How much fps warzone
Newly bought day 1 ,Playing high settings Mafia 90 degress how to lower heat to this card

I was considering this card for my SG13 and wanted to see its operating temperature under stress.
Did you happen to use the card with its original cooler before installing the water block? if so, What was the maximum temp in the Lazer 3D LZX-8?
Not sure if it's any help to you at this point, but I have the dual mini, and mine tops out at 68c at 22c ambient running fur mark. This is in a full atx case with plenty of air flow (I bought this card because I found a great deal on it, not because it's going in an itx build). That all being said, at full load at stock fan curves, it still keeps quite quiet, and even in a much more restricted case, you should be able to easily keep it cool without running the fans ridiculously fast
Unfortunately you cant change the lighting on the card as far as i researched(currently have this card)the pink/purple light isn't my style would've been much better if it had RBG you could tweak
Yeah I agree performance is grade A but that rgb lighting would’ve been the icing on the cake
Can a source with a capacity of 550w use this VGA card? Thanks!
I have this card! Use it in a Velka 7 and it stays reasonably cool even in that case, and like you said, runs very quiet. Think this might be the first review of it on here that I've seen.
Sup Ben are you able to change the RGB on it?Via the Aura app?
@@andredhooge4268 Hey Andre. I asked ASUS about this, but apparently it's just the purple.
How does yours stay reasonable cool. I’ve upgraded from a Vega 55 to this card and it is like 20c warmer. Under just about 20-minutes of 80% usage it gets to like 78c. Is that normal?
@@laserjullu2.068 Mine maxed at 69. What's your setup / case airflow like?
@@bensinger6031 Am thinking about buying this card though I am quite unsure because of the noise and temperature. Just wonder if you think it’s worth it or not and how your card is performing?
hi
i have asus DUAL RTX 3060 Ti V2 MINI OC
i get 163 fps all the time
i cant ever get more than 163
i have 5900x
what might be the problem sir
I have the 3060ti dual mini card and use in a Montech 95 king case, for 1080p gaming. Does everything asked of it.
Hey man, I have the Kolink Rocket case. Currently running on 1060TI (single fan) I am considering to install a dual fan card. what other (dual) card would you recommend from ASUS aside the 3060Ti you mentioned?
EVGA's XC Gaming cards are pretty fine too. The 3060's 3060 ti's are dual fan models which should be pretty good
@@STSYT Any particular reason to choose Evga, over Asus? There is also Asus 3070 dual fan, did you had the opportunity to test any of them?
Maxfun have a 3050 and 3060 who are a little smaller, 188mm i think. Dual fan too.
Ist die mini unter lasst laut ?
Nice as always mate
Thanks!
Nice review, thanks 👍 :D
Thanks! 😄
Another card in the same size is the EVGA RTX 3060 Ti XC. That would be to know if she is better or worse than Asus ?!
You can find the Asus Dual 3070 SI Edition, a rare unicorn, but the 3060ti dual mini cooler might swap right on the 3070 pcb.
Alternatively, swap out the fan for a pair of Noctua A9x14, 3D print a brown shroud, and you got yourself a 3070 Noctua Mini
Surprised you haven’t tried the Asus phoenix 3060
If I could find this card anywhere I would buy it in a heartbeat for meshlicious build.
Yeah, another card that becomes unavailable as soon as it appears somewhere. I found it completely random in a "consumer electronics" shop. Like the type of place you would get a TV, but never a GPU. Fortunately, I wasn't stabbed while buying it.
Why do you need a tiny GPU for your meshlicious? Just curious, because it can fit a big RTX3080 or RX6800 easily.
@@franzmeier I think the 36 DTI is the sweet spot and if I ever want to downsize to a vodka I think that would be nice
@@la009895 And you would like to use the HDD Braket for more Storage?
How does this compare to the normal 3060ti?
I'm guessing you mean the FE edition.
Sorry but we have non available, nor can I expect to get one this year.
If this changes one day, we'll make a comparison
Is it possible to run this gpu with a 500W psu? Or will it just not start?
A 3060ti should peak at around 200watts. Double it to 400 and add an appropriate cpu like a sub-100watt 5600x and you’re at 500watt.
So yes, it will work if you don’t combine it with way too much other things.
Though for PSU’s I would always recommend to exaggerate a bit. A 600/750 unit will give you more headroom now and upgradability later.
@@STSYT Thank you very much. I bought a 650W psu. Now I should be in the clear right?
Big puppy haha alright man u got me xD
Hi, just wondering, is this card better than the best/high end 3060 (I mean regular size)? Thanks. Can't decide....
Sorry, this is the only one I have, no way of comparing for now
@@STSYT thanks for replying man
Any 3060 ti is going to be better than a 3060. SSF cards perform the same as their full size counterparts, just with slightly worse cooling
Very good card I was able to run r6 at 165 FPS on max ultra setting at 1440p
I think the discussion is still bandwidht vs memory size (if considering everything is DDR6x)!
Memory size is king, until it's slow enough, then maybe bandwidth starts to matter a lot!
Edit:
I have a steam deck, which runs proton compatibility layer for windows, on a Linux based Steam OS.
The Steam Deck uses an AMD APU that shares a single 16GB LPDDR5 memory pool between both CPU and GPU, and for some reason it seems better optimized for gaming than many PCs I tried the same games on, which is mind boggling. If you were to install windows on the deck apart for anti-cheat stuff, the games would not run better. It runs and loads games pretty quickly, for such a small device.
awesome!
Very nice video. I wish I could afford that one. Lets just say many x amount of my money per month
1080ti mini vs 3060ti mini?!
Of anyone knows, pls! 🙏
Or if u could make some gaming benchmarks? 😁👍
Idk if this will help but I’m able to run rainbow six siege at 165 fps on max ultra settings at 1440p
@@ese1588 how bout warzone
@@davidj7998 hmmm haven’t played warzone but after doing some things in bios I now avg 185 FPS on siege max settings on 1440p pretty sure you’ll be able to run atleast 120 FPS on warzone
@@ese1588 i have a 1080p 165hz monitor would that still be cool I currently have the 1650
@@davidj7998 hell yeah you would get above 100fps guaranteed but definitely higher. The 3060 ti is meant for 1440p I don’t see why it wouldn’t be good at 1080p
Tipe memori hynix or samsung
Funnily enough, I had to take the card apart some time ago to make pictures for a Waterblock.
It's SK Hynix.
Is this gpu stronger than rtx 2070 super? Im wondering if i should buy this.
A tiny bit in most games. But we're talking 5% here. Looking at the current prices I don't see that as enough to justify the purchase.
@@STSYT may I ask where you got that 5% from? When I looked into it, the 3060ti mini should be at least 15% but I could be wrong.
Its basically a 2080 super so yeah a lot of faster than 2070.
he's fun :)
I just got this card! V2 tho! $577 :)
What’s the difference between v2? And I got one today as well for around 10 dollars cheaper. You get it on StockX?
@@raoiii8352 Did you ever figure out the difference? I'm about to buy one. Both versions are available and V1 is still a bit cheaper. My ITX is liquid cooled so I will be scrapping the twin fan heat pipe cooler.
@@bluemeanie6395 nah couldn’t figure it out, it’s probably something so minuscule you wouldn’t notice the difference anyways, I got my card shortly after and it’s been running good ever since as is
@@raoiii8352 no worries, I'll get one :)
How are you liking your card I just grabbed one.
ı just buy ı 3060 TI Dual Mini but its working at 90 degrees at full load...
Something is wrong then, my card hasnt even remotely touched that temp, fans working?
I sent it to warranty, they changed the thermal paste on the card, now it does not exceed 75 degrees
I get 83 when I play GTA 5
@@MarionetteButPuppetreplacing the thermal paste is the fix?
@@miketengu It was in good condition for 1 month, but then it started to reach the same temperatures. Asus support said that these temperatures are normal for this card, so I continue to use it as it is.
SHOW TEMPERATURES....
Next time
If you paid more for a 3060 Ti than for a 3070, you got screwed.
Well, the market in that year was awful so... just as expected, in a way.
i think metro exodus dont like too much VRAM so 3070 drop 10% cause of 12go vram
That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
@@dividedstatesofamerica2520 make research about it
Nobody cares about your fps charts, we have big reviewers for that, just interested in temperatures and noise.
okay
Asus dual cooling are the worse garbage cooler in the last 20 years of videocards. I had so many brand videocards like MSI, Gigabyte and Asus that i belived big noise was an old memory.
........but Asus thought to bring back coil whine in stile with very very cheap fans!!!
What kind of memory is there? MP or CS? overclockers.ru/st/r/800/-/legacy/blog/211245/308337_O.jpg
