This doesn’t just sound good it also sounds fun. I imagine lots of components? I barely had an OP-Z, but it gave me lego vibes when it comes to building up a track. A lot of sound design can come from the components. Thanks for another great demo!
i find the general song making process to be extremely streamlined. Basically i explore an idea and then all of a sudden i have a song, composed and all. And that streamlined workflow enables me to go back and touch up some minute details in each scene. maybe the bass is to heavy in one scene or maybe i want a riser between scene changes, its very easy to just implement that into the song without messing up the actual song.
@@MichaalHell since the other guy mentioned the OP-Z, i'm curious whether any of this 'streamlined' workflow extends to the OP-z..like, is the workflow you describe comparable at all to the OP-Z?

@@Galfar0th Noted! i wish i had the tenacity to do a @Jayhosking style video, but just setting up the text proprtions to make it readable on any device is really hard. and then you have to try and remeber what you actually were doing and try and type that out on. Maybe i could use the speech to text feature on the TP-7... anyhow i hear you and ill look into it :)
it's a pity they (TE) don't spend more time on audio, not one demo of this device sounds right to me at all... On the other hand, very good composition and sound design!
@@MichaalHell you're right I didn't want to remove any worth from the XY. It's only that TE devices don't sound right to me, I'm not an expert on audio programming by any means so I cannot elaborate on this more... so obviously it's only a subjective opinion. On the other side, I don't like to end my comments on a negative side, so I will say I honestly think we should have more companies like TE bringing brave stuff such as this and all previous devices to the market.
@@jessarc6715 it is subjective and it’s ok to feel like something doesn’t sound good, but it’s not an absolute truth. And yes, it doesn’t sound like a Monomachine, firstly you have a much deeper sound engine in the MnM, but then you have the old DAC adding that extra spice. I don’t know if you’ve ever owned a MNM (I have twice) but it kind of sucks at doing other stuff. Trying to do VA stuff is almost cringe inducing.
Hell yeah!! Getting Autechre vibes too
Thank you ! 🎉🎉
Omg that tune just blew my mind! Dope!
man this thing sound good . I may save up for this
It’s a cool device for sure,it’s turning out to be more flexible than I thought it was.
This is the only OP-XY demo I've actually liked. And I imagine it'd sound even better in a DAW.
Really cool composition, great sound design!
Best work on this machine I’ve seen yet!
Thank you 🙏
this is one of the best hardware jam clips I've seen in months
@@Megallicafan18 🙏glad you stopped by!
Nice!! It's a great machine for this kind of experimental stuff I think.

@ it kind of is. But the XY takes it further with its song mode.
This combined with a pulsar-23 would go absolutely crazy
This was really good!
Thank you!
this is awesome!
This is Epic...
This is sooooo good! ❤❤❤
Machinedrum has finally a worthy (also from financial standpoint) IDM successor!
@@el_dani lol true. When we get drum synths in the XY then we gonna 🚀
Looks incredible

Wow. This sounds so good. You’re really selling me and probably many other people on this thing.
Thank you, no irresponsible purchases though!
Nice!!!!! I love this sound like eurorack
Phunn! I like the grand finale sound 😊
Could you share the project file please?

brutal sound!
So so sick!
Mind you showing how to create such track from scratch?
Ha Ha..sure
I mean, ugh! I really suck at doing tutorials and I hate doing them on top of that. But maybe, don’t rule anything out 😊
@@MichaalHell I also think this would be really interesting :)

nice compositions but it simply sounds so shitty and irritating compared to a monomachine

I would argue it sounds more filthy than shitty. But different strokes and all that..
