Great video. I mostly buy vintage but I've just picked up a new green PRX 35mm quartz for $191 which is hard for any microbrand to beat. It's also not just European micros that have production in Asia - plenty of Tissots are marked "Tissot Hong Kong" inside the caseback.

Direnzo watches are so cool! I really wish I had jumped on the DRZ02R when it got released, but unfortunately my watch account was dry at the time of launch
I'm sure that watch will be restocked in the new year. I bought the DRZ 02 a few years back but I would like to add the R to my collect as well. The 04 is one of my favourite watches. I find it more comfortable to wear that my new Airking i just acquired. Direnzo are the best value for money waches around. Pure class.
…Or you can get PRX, Longine Hydroconquest and Seiko 5 GMT and forget about microbrands that hold no value or relevance, but that is just my point of view how to spend £2k

I saw a Direnzo 04 Tiffany blue on YT a few weeks ago and thought it looked cool enough to buy. I found one in Germany and thought "why not" Jump forward to last Wednesday and it arrived. Really like it. The dial is one of the nicest I've seen curving up the sides gives it a very unique look. The colour suits where I live on a sub tropical island where summer is pretty much all year round The bracelet looks good but you can tell there has been some price engineering done and has a bit more flop than I'd like although I also have the rubber strap as a spare but again I can say im delighted with it and recommend it to anyone who wants a quality funky colour dial watch at a very reasonable price
I think Baltic is not unknown...it's very popular among the youtubers. Personally I think they are the best for those classic looks. Their tricompax with the swiss movement, I think the best looking one...

What am I missing that makes that chronograph of specific interest to a cyclist? These are all nice watches. Baltic does a nice job with their design language. It’s not particularly difficult to make a case for buying any one of those watches. To form a three watch collection of them, I simply don’t get it. Yes they are fun and playful, but they are to sone extent nicely done fashion watches. There’s little or no value in terms of actual horology. They are all nicely made, but nothing particularly spectacular. None of these are particularly expensive, but $4,500 buys one hell of a good watch particularly pre owned. So while I’m not going to suggest no one should buy one of these watches, it making them a habit, forming a collection, sometimes less is more. You can only give so many watches actual wrist time.
The Bravur grand tour range is directly inspired by the three cycling grand tour races - the pink themed one on show here being the Giro D’Italia, alongside a yellow (Tour de France) and red (Vuelta)

The bravur is interesting, but the Direnzo and especially Baltic, not my style. Slapping a chinese movement inside a watch , making a fancy dial and charging 600+ for it is just something i wont swallow. Also all these watches are below 38mm, so if youre normal to large wrist sized, itll look like a toy on.
I might be wrong, but I think Bravur isn't pronounced Bruhvaer. I think it's a play on two Swedish words bra (sounds like the women's undergarment) and ur, meaning "good watch" with a V thrown in between for fun. If I'm right, then it's pronounced like BRA voor.
So the Direnzo is "better in every way" compared to a PRX because of the way the first link articulates and the fact it doesn't have two plastic parts? (even though your claim that this is an issue on the PRX has been debunked numerous times as it's purpose is to reduce friction and doesn't hinder serviceibility) ... not sure you made a convincing argument here.
DON'T buy any baltic watches, they are garbage. I ordered their MR01 for 605 euros, paid in full, in advance. I received the watch 7 months later. It ran 9 MINUTES fast per hour (not 9 seconds). The b.o.r. bracelet was very cheap, I have $100 watches with vastly superior bracelets. And the return process was a nightmare. They couldn’t: find my address, couldn’t send a prepaid return label. Wanted to refund my money to paypal when it was not used for the purchase. So I paid for the return shipping and they committed in writing, to refund the shipping cost. Then they refused to pay for the return shipping cost after receiving their returned watch. This company is wildly incompetent, and massively dishonest.
Hey its a chinese movement slapped inside a mediocre case and a alluring dial, didnt handle them, but when you see all the youtubers raving about something overpriced you know what's up.I got the beads of rice style bracelet on my doxa, which is probably finished milles better than this and i don't like that one too. I stear clear of those watches , just like i did with PRX.

I’d be cross shopping the Farer chronographs with the Bravur - similar movements and equally eye catching use of colour

As a Swede, I'd say you are close. "Bravur" is a Swedish word meaning "skill" or "excellence". It is pronounced BRA-vuhr. @WatchCrunchOfficial

You mentioned that these are all for the price of the Tudor. I’d stick with the Tudor for sure.

SO glad I went with the Direnzo Mondial over the PRX. Honestly, by comparison the PRX's finishing looks like 💩
Yema Urban Traveller, in house movement, 39mm, +- 10 sec/day, 42h power reserve for $890. Better than the Direnzo, PRX, CW 12 etc.
