I did the easiest thing for electricity. Opened up a surge protector wire strip with 6 screws, unsoldered the three wires, ran the wire through the back of the safe then soldered back the wires. Done, neat and easy.

GastonGross Search “Twang and Bang DIY Safe Lights”. I used everything he did. I just did the power strip in the safe which is much easier than wiring it like this video did. The Twang and Bang video is excellent. He uses LED lighting that comes in a roll, a motion sensor and power pack. He attaches the lights with push pins which I didn’t like. I just used the sticky back and glued the light strip on the inside lip of my safe. It worked awesome. If you need more info after watching the video, reply here and we’ll contact each other. The Twang and Bang video also provides links in the description box so you can’t go wrong. I couldn’t copy the link or his text and paste here, so you’ll have to look up the video. 3m makes a product called fire stop, comes in a caulking tube it’s used on high rise buildings , where they penetrate the floor. It’s a bit pricey but so is losing your gun collection. Cost is about $30

good video FYI ive owned a lot of boats in my life and most of them i needed to install outlets in my engine rooms and other compartments i usually glue the boxes in using 3M Adhesive Caulking 3200 and ive never had the bond fail 5200 is waterproof and will even set up in water if needed to do so Boaters use it all the time for many tasks

No. I finished the safe and use it daily. The lights worked out perfectly and I never put them on a switch. I am happy that I used all industrial grade products because it gives me worry free performance.

10-2 heavy duty wire.
a steel old work electric box (2 gang).
2 10 Amp outlets.
And a heavy duty plug.
That's pretty much it aside from some drywall screws that I had around the house.

What size safe is that ? Are them the shelves that came with the safe are you made them ?
It's the Cannon TS5934 and those are the factory shelves.

I bought a Winchester safe and I've watching videos on people making electric outlets for them because that's what I'm trying to do. Why not just drop an extension cord or power strip inside the safe and run it out the hole in the back? Hell you can cut the plug off if the holes too small and re-connect it after you feed the wire through the hole.
You can do that. I was looking for a more permanent solution, and I know that I can plug anything in there and not worry about it.

Why haven't you taken the safe off the skid and bolted it too the floor, right now as it sits its ready for someone to slip a dolly under it and load it in a truck.
It is now. I built the safe into the wall of my office down in my basement. I still left the pallet underneath it in case the basement ever floods. Besides... I use myself to keep fingers off my guns. If a criminal is bold enough to come get it, then I'll just have to defend it or use my insurance.
And the lag bolts go through the pallet and into the floor.
That is not a plug ,it’s a cord cap.
Bro, you should be charging Cannon for them using this! I just called them and they sent me the link to your video! And btw, you don’t have to do this to a Liberty Safe. It comes with a spot for an outlet kit that they sell. Don’t buy this Cannon garbage!

Aren't you a little concerned that you may have diminished your fire rating. Any penetration oh, just like a penetration on a fire rated wall between a garage and a house, reduces your fire rating. Not saying I wouldn't do it any how, but it should be a consideration.
Um... No. Considering the hole was already there, I just cleaned it up, and I used commercial grade products. I believe that I didn't affect the fire rating of the safe.
FYI,
The kit that they sell isn’t any better. It’s actually plastic with a plastic extension with a disconnect. It also has a plastic cap to use to cover a hole through the middle for a pass through computer cord non fire rated. He can buy fire rated caulking if need be.
