@@nikkorhodes7463 inside the door track? I put exterior door weather stripping on there to help make a true seal between the outside and inside of the safe, it helps with temp, humidity, etc!
@@FrankChristopherOutdoors also do I have to drill the safe in order to run power cable for lights I have the Winchester 26 gun safe I have the hole in the back but it’s not straight through there is a wall
The hole in the back of your safe is a hole in the steel exterior, you will still need to drill a hole through the drywall material in the back beyond the hole in the steel so you can run a power line in there. It’s not hard, very easy to do. Just use any bit to go through that drywall-like material.
@@BrennanOtt yeah but it’s easy drilling. You only need to drill through the drywall-like material and then you’re good. The outer steel shell is pre drilled
@@FrankChristopherOutdoors Regular run of the mill screws like the ones that came with it? Or something specialty considering you’re drilling into concrete??
Do you have the link for the outlet you said you used
Yes it’s in description
What is the white strips on the safe ?

I have the same safe. For the hole in the back, did you hav to drill some through the material to get the cord through?

Is there a hole for the cord to the outlet, or did you just run it from the holes in the bottom?
There’s a hole in back of this safe
Did you screw the light bars into the safe? Or did you use the 3M adhesive tape on the back of them?
I screwed them in! But the tape would probably work fine

Get them they work great !
Does the winchester have the pre drilled holes?
@buckskinz it has one pre drilled hole through the steel in the back of the safe
Thanks for this valuable information.
You need to unbolt your safe from the skids. Otherwise you are enabliling thiefs to just use a jack and hoist your safe off.
