Thanks for the video. That 8x8 looks killer. I wouldn’t say I love working with the small scale stuff. The reward is worth the aggravation. I think what I would do in your chain situation is skip the metal clip and sacrifice a small zip tie. Set up the chain on the tire. Use a small zip tie to loop through the eyelet. Cinch zip tie down to desired chain tension and the cut off the excess. Then just cut the zip tie off when you wanna remove the chains. Take care.
Thats awesome Gerry! Thanks for covering this 👍👍Looking forward to some running footage with that eight wheeler. I have a cc02 bronco thats my winter trail truck and i can see getting some chains for that.
I'm happy to see you still have the 803. I just ordered a 801 in oktober (its still not here) and the only cods i can find are 4 years old or even older. Like nobody is using these cars anymore. How did you camo paint it?
I can't handle the small stuff either hands do not work good enough lol! Getting old sucks. HG 8x8 looks awesome 👌 been eyeing some 1/10 crossRc military rigs myself.
Sir, could you do me a favor? I want to start o build stuff for my P801 that's coming in 2 weeks but I need to know the inside measurements of the bed. Could you tell me what they are? Because the 801 and 803 share the same bed.

I’ve got to try that zip tie trick!

I will get some running footage out soon!
The bed of the HG is perfect to store parts. Course is coming along nicely.
It is getting there one section at a time!
Can't even fathom putting chains on the full size! Gonna look awesome in the snow!
I put them on humvee's never really big rigs!
Thanks sir. That’s some commitment. Really appreciate the effort.
You are most welcome!
Tire chains. That's so cool!!
The alaska way!😁
That looks awesome I bet it’s a beast on the trail.
If it had locked diffs it would be more beastly 😁🤣

Appreciate it, they were pretty tough to get on!
Love the HG 😊 Them chains are tough to put on 😮 I've never had any chains , but they look Good on the HG ! May have to get some for my Traxxas Hauler.

I love the cross rc military trucks!
I Bet🏆😵💫
Yes sir!
It may be easier to have another set of wheels and once fitted leave them on and just change the wheels.
That would be the ticket!
Just a random thought…how would some tiny springs work in place of the clips, maybe watch springs, or trigger springs from an old controller?
Maybe but iam leaning toward small zip ties
