Thanks so much for watching Jeff, topwater is and will probbaly always be my favorite way to fish, you can’t beat watching a fish eat on the surface!!!

@@NASPELTZ Are you in the Hayward area of WI? I just started watching your channel not sure where you are exactly? Our family has a cabin on Spider Lake east of Hayward in Sawyer County.
@nicstevens6499 I live in southern Minnesota by Rochester, but fish that area when I go for musky. I’ve fished spider quite a bit! I absolutely love Hayward. Been fishing it since I was a little kid, caught my first ever musky on lost land lake years ago and got hooked
@@NASPELTZ Sweet! The lost Land Boat launch is about 2 miles from our cabin. Next time your on Spider Lake come find us on "East Bay" 40-50 inch muskies in our bay there. The drone shots are beautiful. The anticipation of seeing a fish hit the top water lure from that height made the shots even better. That would have been awesome.
Drone shots are fantastic !! Perfect calmness; it's like the camera is mounted to a 100' pole lol. Absolutely beautiful lake/setting. Enjoyed this one so much.
I love fishing top water lures, nothing beats the splash when a nice fish goes for a bite! I've caught plenty of bass and pike on it but a top water musky still is on my bucket list
I love flaptails, you have to be patient working them and I’ve found the fish prefer them sllllloooowwww. Just my experience. What a beautiful lake, you’re living my dream! Love the content. Those drone shots are incredible
Flap tails are sweet, this is my second year fishing musky so I’m still learning everything. I will slow it down from now on. Thanks so much. And I’m glad you like the drone shots. I was worried I may have overdone it with this video with so many shots but it defiantly keeps people entertained

Hey Keith thanks so much for watching, flukes are one of my favorite baits to throw as well, a weightless white fluke works great around me for finicky bass
Wow, I'm amazed that you got a Musky to eat that baby submarine lure! What a beautiful lake to spend the day on. Minus the skeeters, of course! Some very cool drone shots! You'll get Emma on one during the next trip! That baby submarine lure is a bit more than I could throw but I'll tell you anyway that my current favorite lures to throw are the Bucca Bull Shad and the Savage Gear Hard 4 Play Swimbait. For some reason, the FL Largemouth just smash those lures. Makes for some real excitement on the water! Thanks for another great video.
Hey thanks for watching, I hope you enjoy your new camper. The lure was a cool one for sure, I’m just glad I got one to eat. I really hope I can get her on a fish too. I’ve fished the 4 play quite a bit and can tell you your right, the fish just absolutely love it. It’s a great lure for hungry bass. Thanks for watching :)
@NASPELTZ I have a super awesome suggestion for some of the best fishing you'll ever experience. A lake in Montana called "Lake Koocanusa". To the south of the lake is a large dam. Fishing at 3 AM at the base of the dam catches some of the biggest lake trout ever. Using large spoons as lures.
You are the asmr of musky fishing. I get good vibes from you man. I subscribed. Anytime you want to fish the Wisconsin river by Wausau/stevens point I’m your guy!
That’s actually where I’m planning to fish next haha. I was going to give that dam a try possibly and explore that area. Do you have any way I can contact you?

I always like to give back to the people who allow me to make the videos. It’s a win win, i get comments from people who wouldn’t usually comment and then I get to know what fish people like to see caught, what lures people like fishing with that I can use for videos, or just more about other types of fishing that people do, and in return someone wins a lure. It’s always nice to get an email back when someone receives the lure about how happy they are or how many fish they have caught on it. Thanks for the comment. It means a lot you watch the videos
Awesome video man. My favorite bait is my late Poppy's homemade spinner bait - "The Foxfire." It catches all kinds of fish + big muskies and I know he wouldnt want it any other way.
Great video. The drown shots were amazing. I just recently found your channel and really like the content. My favorite lure is a regular double dawg but I like top water blowups as well.
Jack hammer because imma bass fisherman but im starting to get into pike and im sure Muskie won’t be too far out I love your vids and you always manage to catch a monster!!
You can’t beat a glide, they are tied with #1 for me, I love spooks just as much as glides. I’ve caught all my biggest fish on glides except for 1 and that was a spook. A 7 inch white glide works wonders on the lakes around me, your right a great bait for drawing fish in
Hello, my favorite bait is the XPS perch 4 inch Glide bait. The reason why I like it it's a amazing bait that's just got so many ways to fish that are all really effective for bass, musky, in northern pike. I found it because I saw one of your videos and decided to try it and now it is my favorite bait.
Our Northen Pike season has just started here in Europe, but I have managed to get me some Red October Ninja 7"5 tubes. Shallow rigged and with a spinnerblade on the end treble hook has already gotten me a whole bunch of fish! The pike love them here :)
I love fishing them but just have never had any luck, I don’t usually use my livescope so maybe that’s it. Any tips for fishing them? I’d love to know more
10-9 bucktail for me!! I love fishing rivers in Wisconsin, and I think it is a really good bait in heavy current. Still gotta love giant top-waters in Minnesota lakes though Great video - keep casting!!
I love fishing rivers as well. I’m looking to explore some small river stuff for musky this summer. Just got to find where to start. Bucktails never fail, I’d say they are one of the best if not the best lure for musky. It’s also fun to see what else they will catch, I was fishing Mille lacs on opener with a double 8 blade cowgirl and caught a 6 pound smallie on it haha
Funny you say that, because I seem to pick up a few smallies on my buck-tails as well. Nothing close to 6 pounds though. I haven’t got the chance to fish Mille lacs for musky yet, I guess I’m just too addicted to rivers. I am looking to find a few new rivers as well. A good place to start is by looking for rivers that come out of major musky lakes, or there is a very good spreadsheet online of Wisconsin managed musky waters. Good luck fishing this year, I always enjoy watching your videos!!
Small lure TIP for MUSKY. EMA could try using Mepps Aglia Size 5 Silver/Red-White with or without bucktail. I caught MANY Musky with this lure in Canada and my largest musky ever which was 50+ inches. Ive used slow and fast retrieve and also even jerk it every 4th turn to turn fish into eaters.
My top musky lure of all time is a single 7 bucktail. If you are going to keep fishing with Emma she will thank you if you buy a Thermocell. Its a butane powered bug repellant. Should repel about 75% of the bugs in your boat.
One of my favorites as well, I fished it a little in the last musky video. The sound it makes is just so nice. I’ve yet to catch one on it but I’m hoping it’s coming soon
Awesome video. My favourite lure is, and will probably always be a spinnerbait. Although, jerkbaits are also right up there. My Pb pike, and large mouth both came on a spinnerbait, and my pb smallie came on a jerkbait. Hard not to like those two types of lures. 😂
Two of the best lures out there, I love fishing grassy areas with a spinnerbait for pike and bass. Jerkbaits are a great lure for smallies, if you like jerkbaits you have to try split plastic flukes, rig them weightless and you will catch so many big smallies. Thats my favorite way to fish em, that and spooks

Did you measure the bigger one? Looked like a nice low to mids 40" class fish. If not, that's cool to. I respect a quick release. Musky are a delicate fish that need to be taken care of. I love northern wisconsin, I have a cabin up there and fish around the hayward area all the time. The scenery is sick, and the great fisheries are just a bonus!

Im fishing for northern pike in Europe, huge thanks to anyone who answers
I was so hoping she would too, I’d much rather net her fish than catch my own. I think if I take her to the right lake and get her lure in front of a fish it’s going to happen. The first thing is teaching her to use a bsitcaster, I can’t have her hooking a giant on a spinning rod. Or if anything I’ll have to get her a super heavy spinning setup for musky. Thanks for watching
Could you recommend a baitcaster that is easy for a beginner that has only used spinning reels? I’m after bass, nothing crazy. I have a $200 max budget. Any ideas, and or advice is greatly appreciated. Have a good one.
I have a soft spot in my heart for the Whopper plopper, so many great memories catching big fish on them, the pike in my lakes and rivers just can’t resist
Amazing choice, love a double 8 or 10, seems to bring in the most fish, now getting them to eat on the 8, that’s the challenge. Or at least for the heavily pressured lakes in Minnesota that I’ve fished, love to follow, don’t love to eat as much haha
A lot of the time I filmed different parts of the video at different parts of the day, or I will mix stuff up to make the video make more sense, so in the video it might look like it changed weather suddenly but in reality that part of the video was filmed hours before or after the catch, I usually fish all morning and then do all the talking points later in the day and just add them in
I see people fishing them online, are they any good. I’ve been thinking of picking one up, honestly they look so goofy but I think they would catch fish!
I’ve got a 2023 tracker pro team 175txw, with the 75hp motor, great little boat for what I do. I mainly fish backwaters of the sippi and small lakes. But I also take it to lakes like mile lacs on calm days
Hey if you’d be interested in ever heading back to Wisconsin I’ve got a lake for ya. Check it out online, it’s called yellow lake and it’s around Webster county, I’ll be there the weekend after the Fourth of July
I’m glad you like the videos, I enjoy fishing the lure. I think it’s very interesting, I just don’t really like the extra hooks, seems they are only going to foul hook the fish
That's agony. Poor girl is cold, getting eaten alive, and wants to go home. But little christian boy that says "fesh" needs to get his third muskie in 8 hours.
If she was in agony and didn’t like it she wouldn’t be asking me to take her along on more trips. I usually fish and film alone but she really wants to come out more and fish with me. She’s a big girl, if she doesn’t like it she will tell me. I would never put her through anything she didn’t want to do. And if she was cold she wouldn’t be laying in the back of the boat tanning for two hours in the hot sun. It was cold in the morning, come around mid day it was hot and sunny. I stopped fishing and filming for 2-3 hours so she could relax and enjoy a beautiful summer day laying in the sun where there was no bugs. It was buggy for 30 minutes at sunrise and 30 minutes at sunset. She enjoyed it so much she even asked when we are going again…
@@NASPELTZ Sorry. Had an awful day and chose to be an asshole instead of controlling my emotions. I do in fact enjoy your content. If anything, I was jealous of the beautiful lake you were enjoying. My apologies.

Amazing choice, love a double 8 or 10, seems to bring in the most fish, now getting them to eat on the 8, that’s the challenge. Or at least for the heavily pressured lakes in Minnesota that I’ve fished, love to follow, don’t love to eat as much haha
3:48 Need I say more
That lure is so cool. Where do you buy your fishing lures?
Usually buy them at Scheels or Thorne bros, Thorne bros seems to have the best selection of musky gear I’ve found
“Let’s throw something a little more finesse” PULLS OUT 12 INCH BAIT
😂😂😂 I was thinking about pulling out the 14 inch version but thought I’d stick to something finesse lol
Love spinners but id love to catch my first mysky
Spinners are an awesome lure, great choice. I hope you catch your first one soon
16:15 right after musky release its completely overcast and then its completely sunny no clouds
on next frame... ???
A lot of the time I filmed different parts of the video at different parts of the day, or I will mix stuff up to make the video make more sense, so in the video it might look like it changed weather suddenly but in reality that part of the video was filmed hours before or after the catch, I usually fish all morning and then do all the talking points later in the day and just add them in
so wait, do y'all not use wire leaders? just a 80 lb floro leader?
Exactly, unless I’m fishing a suick I’m using a floro leader, never had a musky bite me off so far
Nate dogg, have you tried the BONDY bait?
I see people fishing them online, are they any good. I’ve been thinking of picking one up, honestly they look so goofy but I think they would catch fish!
Joe Bucher Topraider! In a loon color
What type of boat are you rocking?
I’ve got a 2023 tracker pro team 175txw, with the 75hp motor, great little boat for what I do. I mainly fish backwaters of the sippi and small lakes. But I also take it to lakes like mile lacs on calm days
You ever fish northern Minnesota?
Yes I do quite a bit, lot of great lakes
Fish some of my uncles bucktails
I’d love to
The way bro has both them just there
Hey if you’d be interested in ever heading back to Wisconsin I’ve got a lake for ya. Check it out online, it’s called yellow lake and it’s around Webster county, I’ll be there the weekend after the Fourth of July
I will for sure let you know the next time I’m in Wisconsin thanks man!!!
❤️🎣
Thanks for watching
2oz black spinner bait double Colorado blades
you have such a calming voice almost like Bob Ross. I think the flaptop is overrated
I’m glad you like the videos, I enjoy fishing the lure. I think it’s very interesting, I just don’t really like the extra hooks, seems they are only going to foul hook the fish
I know that lake I think
Actually nevermind that’s way bigger than the one I know
Which lake do you think it is?
@@NASPELTZ i thought it was twin lakes in sawyer mn
Was the girl not catching any fish or did you just not show her catches
Why do you put the tip of the rod in the water when you figure 8 wouldn’t the fish see the rod and know it’s fake?
Hola
Hola
Is this the daily dose of internet guy? lol they sound the same.
Suick
Poor girl is cold and wants to go home. Awkward.
Can you talk louder not be quiet
I think I have the audio just right, if you want louder just turn your phone or tv volume up and I will sound much louder
The way he says "FESH" really annoys me.
Thanks for commenting three differnt times about how much you dislike my content and dislike that I’m a Christian. We get it lol
@@NASPELTZ Sorry. Had an awful day and chose to be an asshole instead of controlling my emotions. I do in fact enjoy your content. If anything, I was jealous of the beautiful lake you were enjoying. My apologies.
I understand, we all have those days. I’m sorry you had such a bad day :( I hope tommorow is a better day for you
Awesome videos. Very relaxing. Your girlfriend is a real trooper. I hope she was able to boat a few fish.
@douglaswhitcomb9729 thanks so much for watching, she sure is. She boated a musky on our last trip but sadly not this one. Hoping the next one she is more lucky. Gotta get her a heavy musky spinning setup first
