Bunna 12 is one of the nuttiest drams out there rich and oily full of sherry flavor but backed up with that Islay heftiness. The cask strength edition is worth the price just like the 12. Cheers mate
Bunnahabhain 12 is quite possibly my favourite 12yr single malt. An outstanding scotch that best demonstrates the awesome qualities of a sherry cask finish. I recently purchased the cask strength version and am looking forward to having a good go at that.
Fantastic review of a fantastic whisky, mate. Even if I'd watched this without the sound, the smile on your face and expressions would've shone through and let us all know how much you enjoyed this. Cheers, Happy New Year and here's to more great drams in 2023. Sláinte from Northern Ireland.
Great video of a great whisky! I can see how much you liked it and I have yet to try a Bunnahabhain I don't like. I want to try the 12 Cask Strength to compare but honesty this one is just soo good isn't it. Cheers brother 🥃
This one has been on my radar for awhile now Wade, looks like after I go to drummonds to replace all of my golf balls I lost on the weekend ill pop into Dan's and grab a bottle thanks to your great review.
Bunna 12 is shockungly good for the price! I absolutely agree with the review, at the moment it would be very hard to find a contender at this price range, non peated Islay goddess simply put, will stay as a permanent guest in my cabinet ;) Edit: it's a complete whisky, that's how I would sum it up in one sentence.
I saw this video and had to pour myself a drop. I'm right there with you: one hell of a whisky. I love the 18yr, but it's WAAAAAY overpriced. The 12 year will be replaced every time I finish a bottle.
Yeah I would love to try the 18, but it’s getting closer to 3x the price of the 12 here and 4 extra years is hard to justify. I bought 2 bottles of the cask strength 12 instead
@@McIntyresMalts very nice, a hint of brine, bit of sherry influence and dried fruit. Quote " matured in sherry casks, stiuireadair scents of dried fruit, caramel, vanilla with a nutty, creamy taste and long fruity finish".
wasnt super impressed with my first dabble in the buna 12, im still through half a bottle so its not bad by any stretch, watching some of the reviews and comments i might need to give it a rebuy when i kill it, see if it grows on me a bit more
It might be that Bunna 12 isn't for your palate my friend, hard to say as we are all different! Hopefully it's more to your liking when you return to the bottle 🥃
I think ralfy said that Bunnahabhain sometimes or rather rarely, but they exist, has drops in quality depending on batches. Maybe you just got a bad batch.

It's bloody fantastic isn't it!? Recently got two bottles of the 2022 Cask Strength, will crack one soon!
@@McIntyresMalts You got the right year for the CS. It’s a special whisky, that ‘22 bottling.
Such a wonderful whisky. One of the greatest 12yo in my opinion.
I couldn't agree more 😉
Rewatching this with a dram from the bottle kill of my Bunna 12. What a great whisky!

My top Scotch Whisky of the year for 2022. Fantastic stuff and good review! Looking forward to trying the 2022 cask strength.
Me too! Very much looking forward to the 2022 cask strength!

It's a fantastic whisky for sure! I literally just had 2 bottles of the 2022 Cask Strength arrive at my door 😄

New golf supplies and new whisky, sounds like it’s going to be a good day!
Great job buddy, but you need to pick up the bunna 12 cs 2022..its mind blowing my friend....cheers Alan....
Thanks mate! I have two bottles on order, it’s only just about to hit our shores 😉
Can’t wait to try it 🥃

undoubtedly one of my favorites!
Can't go wrong with a Bunna 12!
I LOVE IT! Have more 12, Toiteach A Dha & Stiuireadair arriving in a few hours! Gota figure out the right cigar to pair.
A nice problem to have!

That’s a pretty good way to sum it up! 🥃👌
The whisky that kicked off Ralphy's whisky journey, back in the day.
A great place to start!
Felicitaciones x el video excelente cata del Bunnahabhain 12, es un wiskhy FANTÁSTICO con mucho sabor y carácter, felicitaciones x el video🥃🥃
Muchas gracias mi amigo
I wish I could find the CS version where I live. Love my regular 12, it's one of the great 12 year olds.
Love ❤️ Bunnahabhain

I've got a few bottles of Bunna12 because it's my favorite and also sells for 30.97usd here in Taiwan. Low tariffs baby.
Oh wow! You lucky son of a gun, that’s some good value whisky 🙌🥃🔥
When you add a small cube of ice and the dram is chilled it turns into blueberry preserve
Interesting! Are you saying that is a good thing or a bad thing?
@@McIntyresMalts depends if you like blueberry preserve or not!? 😆
Of course it’s a good thing bro 😎
I went to buy this late last year at the local BWS, but they'd run out so i had to settle for the Bunnahabhain Stiuireadair.
How was that one? Dans current has it on special for $99 of you are still looking for it 😉

I think you got a bat batch. I also had a bad bottle 18 months ago.
I think it’s the Cinderella of Islay
Does she get the prince 🤴
ive just killed a bottle in 2 weeks
I'm not surprised! It's extremely easy to reach for this one. My bottle is gone too!
