- The word 'Bunnahabhain' means river mouth. Bunnahabhain was build in 1881 by the Greenless Brothers and is still the most norther Distillery on the Isle of Islay. Read more about it below.↓
The Bunnahabhain Whiskies are lightly peated Islay Malts that have a lot of salty marine tones. The distillery bottling range has many Whiskies ranging from the 12-year-old to the 40-year-old. There are also a few no age bottlings that have different tastes.
There are many independent bottlings of the Bunnahabhain distillery.

Another great video Ben. Katie was absolutely brilliant too great to see genuine enthusiasm and passion for Bunnahabhain! A quality ambassador!
What a great ambassador she is. Love this whisky
A really good quality whisky is Bunnahabhain, particularly love the 12 year old.
This was so nice timing. I bought my very first Bunnahabhain yesterday, so my first poor ever of the 12 is while watching this video today. Gave the experience an extra touch. Great Whisky. Love the cherry ❤
The tour guide look at bit nervous at the start but she did a brilliant job. Great video guys. ☺
These distillery tours are always my favorite videos (even though they all seem to be set up 90% the same:). Even better when it’s a scotch brand I really like, such as Bunnahabhain.
Lucky you I loved the island. I hope to visit their once again before I depart from this earth.
They way Katie says " festival" is awesome.
The buy out of Distell by Heineken is about to be finalized so it will be interesting (read: terrifying) to know what might become of all the distilleries that were once owned by Distell
Hopefully won't be too negatively affected by it.
This is great! Thank you!
I think chewing the 18 year old whisky caught your throat a bit there buddy 😂 I would have cut the video and asked for water. Good on you hanging in there 😅
9:50, we'll done. Really enjoying video presentation. Thank you so much for your passion and hard work.
Great work Ben! Excellent distillery.
Amazing video as always! Thanks 😊
I'm not even 30 seconds in but have to say, Yes!!! I'm soon jealous. Great for you! Now on to the video. BTW, beard looks good.
Love Bunna amazing traditions!!
great video
Thank you!
Notice the emphasis on "Olorosso" when speaking of the 18 however not once mentioned during the 12. That makes me believe they are using other types of sherry casks? Anyone know?
Again, we'll done. Thank you so much. Katie was generous with her time. But she is a bit much.
You lost me at Net Zero…
Oh man. That woman is REAL hard on the eyes.
