    Propresenter themes and looks allow you to send the same slide information to two different screens at the same time but have it looking completely different. This is very powerful when it comes to having information on the screen in the church for the congregation as well as graphics for lower thirds on your livestream at the same time in church

    Thanks for making this. I wish Renewed Vision would have made something like it on their tutorials. But just one step I want to clarify. I need to then make sure every presentation in my playlist is assigned a look (?).

      No the process would go make a theme, apply the theme to a look then apply the look to a slide innyour presentation. It will then hold this look for all slides until it gets to a new look or the look is cancelled.

    Thank you. That was the most concise and coherent explanation I've seen to date bringing themes and looks together. The transition from PowerPoint has been a bit of a slog!

    Amazing and helpful video. Just wondering, how do you guys format the lower third slides where some have single text, some have multiple text?

    • @learnpropresenter
      @learnpropresenter  2 роки тому +1

      We use the scale text option and different looks. Usually we have one look for titles and another look for something longer eg bible verses.
      Also using the scale text up or down option on your text box could help with this as you then know your contents will also fit. This is found in the slide design section when you place your text box.

    Is there an easy way to adjust the shape of a text box. I am wanting to create a shape that is not the traditional rectangle

    Is there a way to apply a look to multiple presentations at once? For instance, how would i apply a look to all the presentations in my songs library?

    • @learnpropresenter
      @learnpropresenter  2 роки тому +1

      The easiest way I know of is to just add the look to the first slide of each song. The look stays active until it changes again. This way when you move your songs into you full presentation it should hold it and keep it the same

      @@learnpropresenter Thanks for the reply Josh. I've actually been using that method along with telling our volunteers to make sure to click on the first slide. Alternatively, I've also created a macro with the look so that we can just drag that macro onto the first blank slide when we're creating our songs. The macro is just to have less steps when creating our song slides as we have volunteers doing this as well.

      Hi Ryker production, could you please elaborate what you mean in more detail? You want to disable one slide but no others. Does this mean delete it or just disable it for a moment so you can skip it?

      @@learnpropresenter yes I can elaborate. Thank you for helping
      I have 2 destination where I want pro presenter to display.
      1. Audience Screens
      2. Live stream
      My pastor likes to preach with a title of his message displayed on the screens for the audience to see. I have his title on the screens layer.
      Now, for the live stream it appears on the lower thirds ( I have it set like this for songs and scriptures). Although I want the lower thirds to display the scriptures and songs, I don't want to display the message title.
      My original question was can I disable a single slide? I want to show the title for the church to see but not in the lower thirds in live.
      I currently have the message title set in props and disabled for live. I just feel there has to be a better more fluent way.
      Again thank you. Hope you can understand what I'm trying to do.

      If it were me I would probably setup 3 looks for this. For example you would have two themes (one for the audience and one for lower thirds). Then when you go to create a look you would have two or three depensing on your needs. One for audience screens only, one for lower thirds only (just incase for the future, and one for both. This is where you can choose your outputs.
      Then in your presentarions for the message slides you'd apply the audience only look and the other slides would have the look with lower thirds and audience.
      If this doesn't maks sense happy to make a video about it for you.

      @@learnpropresenter Hey josh so I made the looks. Now if I’m understanding right. I’ll just have to switch looks by opening the screens tab and selecting live?
