Great designs, and great work putting in the time to figure out the build-in and out durations! :)
Extra tip, instead of running lower third or nameplates from a "slide", you could instead apply the theme to a "message" in the messages show control. Then in your message, you could change out the name on the fly and messages could even auto-clear the layer after a set time, once you've already built out that message.
Nice tip 👍🏻 I’ve actually never used messages. I usually design everything in a presentation on slides, then save that slide as a new theme. Apply theme to audience look of my desire. “Pastor Clayton Nameplate” has a separate audience look that is applied to our welcome slide etc.
Could you also do a similar thing using the props layer?
I've been trying to figure out how you would do this but no luck...could you guys or someone who's figured it out please explain how you could make this work?
1. If you use 1 text layer in a template with just the name then I see how it works
BUT
2. If you have the 2 name elements (Name + title (like in the video)) then I dont see how messages work for this

Thank you very much, could you add another three lines template for Message Title; Speaker name, and His/her title. Also we could use the same as a main output to be used in houses because the lower 3rd are best for online. I have a dedicated screen for in house
Thank you Ryland, I am somewhat a novice on PP7 and would like to use these on our sermon note slides. I understand the editing and have been able to do this to get our information on them, but how would I add this to our sermon notes for live stream. We go from PP7 to an ATEM Mini and then Restream to FB and UA-cam. Using Chroma Key from PP7 and just not completely sure how to incorporate one of these to the setup. Appreciate your help and really like these Name Plate Templates.

Could you do an in depth video on our to mix a broadcast mix? I am using an x32 and using one of my buses for my mix but I can’t just seem to blend the voices just right. Like if someone stops singing you can tell.

How do I play this on my lower third output screen and not primary display.
I took one of the lower third you created and did some retiming so it would flow a little bit faster on the in and out. I then took that file and made it a theme export my theme and moved it to another computer with pro seven and the timing was way off all the timing work I did was out of sequence but it played well on the original machine. Secondly how do I have this play on my secondary display and not my main display are you using this as props or as themes with a certain look?
Well that's annoying! We have done both props and themes on looks. Typically themes on looks. What version of Pro7 are you using? Check the slide and media check boxes on the look you are using.
I just found out this software and I think it's great but I just want to create some lower thirds in propresenter and export those lower thirds with alpha channel so that I can use those in Davinchi Resolve or Kdenlive. is it possible to do so?
In pro7 try clicking "live" in the top right corner. Capture settings. Try codec HAP Alpha

Since these are built as a presentation, how can I save them as a prop? I like using Props for lower third displays if possible.
I think most people are just copy/pasting into a new prop. I heard that the timings get messed up for some reason though, so you have to tinker with that afterwards. Seems silly it wouldn't work.

I am having an issue with the builds. How do I send this to my lower third output and not my main display? I also copied the content and placed it into a prop and the build option are different and the builds don't flow the same. in props there is not build options for "after build...1,2..... no "with build" option either, just "with slide" and "after transition".
Using DSK KEY/FILL via DUO 2 MINI . The DSK works fine I just don't know how to apply these Slide builds to my other output. in my looks I enabled and disabled look options and even made it a theme and applied that to the look but nothing. Still can not get this to play on the second video output.
Hey there, what version of Pro7 are you running? Just curious, haven't heard of any issues. I'll have to look at our Looks and see the setup. Typically I would right click the slide after I've got it how I want it and "create new theme with slide". Then go into the looks and use that theme for the new look. Then apply that look to a slide that is firing in house content simultaneously. Obviously the "look" needs to have the check boxes checked appropriately. Play with disabling "slide" or "media" content.

Yes you can make simple animated slides using their built in transitions on different items. It's more like powerpoint than after affects though.

@@djbassick canva has some decent animations but no not really anything like after effects.
WHAT DO YOU USE FOR SERMON SCRIPTURES LOWER THIRDS
Yes. What about sermon text. What's the best look for that.
We've moved to having a TV on stage, but I used to add a png with text place holders for lower thirds. It worked well, but I feel like I heard Renewed vision say they were taking that functionality away!!!! (looks retaining media when saved as a theme)
Will I need to set this up in looks in order to put on the live stream only?

Not really.....I suppose you could export out a video from Pro7 with alpha channel and import them into iMovie.
