Kateryna Timokhina is a Swiss violinist with Ukrainian origin, who established herself as a popular chamber musician and a solo artist. Her stage presence, virtuosity as well as her warm and vigorous tone excite the public in Switzerland and other countries. She studied at Zurich University of Arts and the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. She finished both degrees with excellence and acquired a Diploma of Solo artist at each university.

I got a violin for Christmas last year. Learning slowly without teacher, not that I don't want one. Just little and irregular spare time.
This woman's violin performance is amazing. I love this piece. She greatly encourages me learn the violin properly. I can't tell much yet, but I do can say that any instrumentalist have 80% of the joy when playing and the rest is for the listeners

It's amazing! I love that Bach's Prelude. I used to play this part on bass guitar back then. Personally, I like Mstislav Rostropovich's performance the most, he was an extraordinary violoncello player, the way he played Prelude is pure perfection.

How would you know 'original'? My impression is that Bach was a deeply emotional man who had a gift for translating that into music.
