The reporter that brought up women in the chiefs workforce being offended, hypothetically, Andy Reid should have just said, "yeah and I'm pretty sure they love their children more than this job". Butker never said, don't work outside the home. He said your truest joy and purpose is in the home with your kids. As in, there is a hierarchy of value in What your create and pursue in life. And your children trump your employment. That's NOT controversial.
Ask moms if they’d rather not see their job or their kids for a month and you’ll see pretty quickly what they value more. If a full 1% said their job I’d be very surprised.
In the same speech he even shows his MVP ring and a super bowl ring and says that he loves his wedding ring more because even though he has a great job that pays millions he loves being a father and a husband in the home more than he loves being an MVP kicker in the NFL. So he's not saying you can't have a job for sure and he's also not saying that if you have a good job then you won't like being a parent or a mom or a dad he's saying that you'll probably love being a spouse and a parent more than you love your job and then he uses himself as an example to show that even if you have a good job you may love being a parent in a spouse more. That part of the speech never gets used because that would explain the context and destroy the feminist hate

Why can’t your decision to marry or to stay single be your own personal decision? It’s crazy that there’s so much of an uproar over the personal lives of other people! I remember what it was like growing up in the 70’s-people got married young, had children and didn’t have much money-until later on-and wow, we’ve clearly lost our way since then.
Because we live in a society and affect each other with our choices. Children raised without fathers in the home are exponentially more violent and poor and less likely to lead a good and productive life. It benefits us all to encourage marriage and stable families.

I guess my family would fit right in. I have three young kids and still don’t have much money. Wife doesn’t work and that did upset me for a bit but I’ve decided to support her and just work more myself while also helping out at home. I have 2-3 full time jobs (one is chores around the house for $0/hr).
No debt. Thank God. I know I’ll be making more money soon with my primary job. It is hard to be a father of three kids under three and also provide for my family but I’m not giving up.
Because marriage is a public event that involves your family and your friends and your church and even legal documents from the state. I guess you could be single and hide in a hole and no one would know anything about your life and your life would affect no one but when you get married your life is inherently public. But even if you're single every time you go out to drink and how you behave when you do that and if you join sports teams and how you behave when you do that and if you join clubs or hang out with friends and how you behave when you do that all affects the public sphere because you're affecting others every time you go out and do anything. Who you go out with to what you do when you go out and how you behave when you do it are all something that affects the public and pretending it isn't is a weird idea
Is America over? No, but it is dying. Quite literally so. Demographically we’re in for some very tough times when mass aging sets in. After that society will probably have to be re ordered, so I and my contemporaries are trying to be as Christlike, cultured, and resourceful as possible to make sure America rises again.

On a different subject, over the years, I've come to realize the importance of the stay at home mom.
We were sold a bill of goods in the 60s and 70s about how we would become 'mad housewives' if we even concidered staying at home with the kids.
The writers who were pushing this idea were all college-types who were looking at 5 digit incomes apon graduation.
The fools who bought into this nonsense were middle-class types who could look forward to glorious low paying jobs flipping burgers at minimum wage... but we didn't know this at the time, of course.
Now we know. We were lied to from the very beginning.
I can only hope that little girls are given dolls to play with again, are encouraged to play house again...and, so, with apologies to Trump, let's make motherhood great again!

As an outsider looking in (from Australia), it seems the US isn’t half the place it used to be. Your population is by and large obese or morbidly obese, your education system is amongst the worst in the developed world despite the enormous resources poured in, your medical system is a joke, your legal system is broken, your news media are biased as hell, crime is out of control and once great cities are now a shell of themselves. 30 years ago I wanted to immigrate to the US but it was next to impossible to be granted a green card, even though I run my own companies and have substantial assets. Now you let tens of millions of people stream over the border and to be honest, I wouldn’t want to live there even if I was offered a US passport on a silver tray.

And so with that background in mind I do think that America is in decline. In this context, the term "unified Reich" clearly only referred to the "Deutsches Reich" which was founded in 1871 as the first German national state and that lasted until 1918. That had absolutely NOTHING to do with Hitler who only came to power more than 60 years later. Nowadays Germans only use "Reich" as a historical term which is usually NOT associated with Hitler's infamous Third Reich, but rather with the Reichstag building, the seat of German parliament. That's why Reich in itself is not considered to be a forbidden Nazi term in Germany today. Biden and CNN are clearly wrong about that.
As a German, I find it appalling how Joe Biden messes around with German history just for his own political gain. As you rightly pointed out, the term "Reich" is a very ancient term in German and as such, absolutely neutral. The most accurate translation would probably be "realm" or "empire", but even terms als "territorial reach", "territorial reign", "domain" or even "kingdom" could apply. It still shines through in German names for certain countries, like "Frankreich" (France) - "Realm of the Franks" or "Österreich (Austria) - "Eastern Realm".
There is ample information on both the "German Reich" and the "Third Reich" on Wikipedia. I get it that the average non-German non-Historian speakers mostly associate the "Third Reich", when the term "Reich" comes up. However, one would think (and hope!) that the leader of the most powerful nation on Earth should know better.
The "Unification of Germany" (again, look it up on Wikipedia) refers to the period in which Bismarck unified a former patchwork of hundreds of chiefdoms, fiefdoms, kingdoms, shires, all coming with different rules and regulations, policies, currencies and what not, to form a unified German nation-state -- a process that had been taking place in other European nation-states hundreds of years prior to 1871 (e.g. the "unification" of Spain happened in 1492!). That's why Germany is sometimes called the "late nation" by historians.
And as that content creator mentioned rightly pointed out, it was this unification that layed the ground for the rapid scientific and technological progress that turned the German Reich into that industrial powerhouse of Europe it soon came to be. Every historian would agree to that, so there is no controversy on that matter. More importantly, however, this has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with Nazi ideology and/or Nazi language.
I cannot help but fear that the Democrats (or whoever has an axe to grind with Trump and/or his supporters) purpusefully try to confuse this process of the "Unification of Germany" with the so-called "Gleichschaltung" - an effort indeed undertaken by the Nazis to suppress free thought and free spreech in their society, but took place some sixty to seventy years later and unter totally different circumstances.
I wonder if this has diplomatic repercussions of some kind. If I, as an ordinary German citizen, can notice how brazenly Biden twists key aspects of German history for some short-lived political gain (not for the first time, by the way), then other world leaders notice, too.
I wonder how triggered AMC would be if they tried to show Abbott and Costello's "Hold That Ghost" (1941). If you CAN'T overlook certain things that were okay when the film was made, like the "Me and My Shadow" song and dance number at the beginning, without losing your mind, you're too much of a snowflake to watch "Hold That Ghost."
Shemp Howard had a good, bit part at the beginning of "Hold That Ghost" and other than the musical numbers (I dislike musicals. e.g. When the Carol Burnett Show is one long musical, I usually skip it. * ), it's one of my favorite Abbott and Costello movies. Joan Davis and Lou Costello are very funny together.
