No hobby this year 🤣🤣 naw I give it all I got every year sometimes some years are better than others! Just have to do the best we can for what we’re given!
You seem to have amazing patience…. I tried prodiamine for The first time a few weeks ago and got yellow powder everywhere…. Got so upset I threw my scale away! You made it seem so simple..
What part of the country are you in and what is that awesome yellow mower you have? Definitely excited to watch your videos this coming season and learn some new stuff!
@@Primetime_Fescue lol I know what you mean. I'm slowly ramping up my lawn game and realize that equipment is an essential part of the equation. My lawn is just shy of 75,000 feet.
@frangeech then you definitely need some equipment lol. It’s not much fun spending all day doing this with DIY equipment I just don’t have time to mess with it like that so I need to get it done and move on to something else lol
No sir I actually have my own guide I sell in my facebook group. It’s using Pete’s (GCI) products because it’s available and he has some good products. The stuff I use just isn’t sold in DIY quantities yet but that’s probably gonna change before long. My facebook group is Primetime Fescue. In a few videos back I linked it I believe it was in the soil testing video and the results video.
What are your feelings about using Dithiopyr as the pre M? How often will you apply 0.15lbs N /1000? What will be your total N input for the year? Sorry for all the questions but I'm just getting started with DIY lawn care. Thank you.
I have absolutely no issues with Dithiopyr I used it last year the whole year spring and fall! I do .55oz per 1000 split apps. I’m done with the .15 pounds of N next app will be .5 pounds of a slow release granular around first of April then starting May I .10 pounds a month. I’m normally at 3 to 3.25 pounds yearly on N
It’s been pretty mild here in NC except in January which we had about 2 weeks of low teens and some single digit lows which really zapped it. It will be greened up before long hopefully! Thanks for the support!
@@Primetime_Fescue saw a dealer in Morganton which is not to far away. Was curious if you bought it locally. I live in Hickory. Im always looking to support local companies. Thx!!
I apply around 3.25 pounds yearly. I apply liquid first to applications then around .5 pounds of granular in April. Then every month starting May through August I do .10 pounds . Fall I do more granular and typically do 2 pounds per 1000 of N
@@mainj54my goal is to keep it green and healthy and a little food will sustain it. I’m not applying any large amounts I’m just constantly giving it a little snack lol. Plus by controlling your nitrogen amount which you can do a lot easier spraying it helps with big growth spurts and in the summer that isn’t what you want.
Starting to get into the yard as you and Pete do only have 11000 Sq feet but I'm handicapped and can't afford a sprayer like this trying to use a pull behind 31 gallon northstar sprayer but tips leak and more of a flood pattern going to make a 3 head sprayer boom for the back would you have a recommendation for what size tee jet nozzle for pre emergent and post emergent. Only info I can find is for backpack sprayer. Sorry for long ? But any help would be appreciated. Awesome lawn by the subscribed look forward to your videos .

That Gallery 75 is sounding like a good idea. I might have to try that this year.
I been using it since 2020! Great product but definitely a little pricey.

Some of you American lawnies have the best equipment!! Love ur vids man, enjoy the season, ours is coming to a close!
I sure wish I had a smaller lawn lol. Wouldn’t have to have the equipment I do! I appreciate the support 👊
@@Primetime_Fescue Your equipment inventory is impressive! Do you work in landscaping or are you just an avid DIYer?

Lawn looks great, I am a DIY'er, been spraying for about 3-4 years and was wondering do you follow a particular lawn care guide?

Do you think it is the same for hard fescue?
Any suggestions for t jet nozzle size for pull behind sprayer for pre emergent and post emergent?

YESS! We are out already.
Crazy weather up where you are!
Great video, I want to order the same products, where do you recommend? I see their site does not sell. I am in Southern Virginia.
Unfortunately you will have to contact a Plantfood Company Rep to order right now.

Right now you would have to buy it from a rep. I do believe they will be selling it in smaller quantities later this year possibly.
