well not as of right now as there are not that many but there is one at a town near me
it's in a town called Boaz Alabama and is called sand mountain drive in.
My family and I used to frequent the place before covid hit. as of right now they are showing raya the last dragon on screen one (there is not other movie currently) and on screen 2 are running the new tom and jerry movie along with space jam afterward. This drive in has been playing a lot of older movies lately because of the lack of new ones coming out. It was the only place to consistently stay open because it was possible to social distance thanks to everyone being confined to the inside of their car. Although it being Alabama some irresponsible parents still let their kids play with others before the movie started.
Excuse me, what?
McConnell, you really have surprised me again
Thank you for making me day a lot more interesting
7:38 *a bunch of Spanish gibberish*
“Si”
Me: laughs my ass off
"So you're saying one of your favourite content creators makes videos about weird, obscure and useless stuff?"
"...Pretty much"
"amogus"
"... Pretty much"
@@oswaldfigglebottom agreed
Will you air the movie again? I was busy the first time and I missed it!
I have a copy of this film that was packed into one of the "Horror Classics" DVDs that you find from time to time in Bargain Bins at Walgreens. Not sure where this particular copy came from, but Austin is right, it's not even close to a good movie, even by Roger Corman Standards.
Never a dull moment on the AustinMcConnell channel. Bless you Brother
This is just a visual representation of Syd Barrett's "Have You Got It Yet?".
After watching this entire video, I'm sitting here laughing both at the outrageous story of the filming for this picture and at how interesting it is to have the rights to a film. Well done, sir. Well done.
5:17 It is now that the old saying comes to mind "Too many cooks spoil the stew"
I saw THE TERROR as a very young child and thought I was watching art. My tastes haven’t changed much.
We're looking forward to watching that mess here at our house.
This is one of the most incredibly stupid things I’ve seen you do so far, and I love it.
UA-cam forgot to recommend me this video for 2 weeks. I guess I missed the movie stream.
8:11 "I honestly don't think they understand why I want it" I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU WANT IT. Lol, Austin is weird, and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just so anyone from the future reads this:
It was legit. I was there. This guy did stream the movie in a youtube premier. Even had a nice little message of forgiveness at the end.
Do a remake and call it "The Terror Returns."
I want this to get on the trending page of UA-cam so badly. Share with everyone!
Well the original is called "The Terror" and is in English. This was a dubbed over Spanish release.
6:00 for a minute there, I thought you were talking about the recent Justice League movie
Why don't you have more subscribers?!?!
Also, I think you randomness in many different topics is GREAT. And I really enjoy your videos, so thank you for doing what you do.
Omg, what are you?!
Never thought I'd ever need to watch a Spanish dubbed B movie I've never heard of.
But wth I'm gonna watch this. Dude you're cool😆✌🏻
You are _literally_ the very 1st UA-camr, to ever spend money on something actually _for_ your audience! Others spend massive amounts on 'props' to destroy, _for_ content. Not you though, my good Sir. Nope, you've gone & _purchased_ a movie for us. So that we may watch _during_ a global wide pandemic. You _really are_ the bees knees Austin, thanks a ton Pal. *Sending you internet hugs, straight through my internet connection: 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Austin...my boy...it's not legal to be this genius.
7:27 All it needed was a little Spanish seasoning
1:56 more like the public...poemain
Ah ha ha ha
100 years from now: "I bought the rights to The Rise of Skywalker just so I could make a UA-cam video about this crazy film's production."
Itll practically be public domain by them
@@frameturtle Unless the MOUSE has something to say about that.
How ironic is it that his "extra 2 days" turned into a mess more work lol
It's hard to believe someone who wants to be a filmmaker doesn't know that people like Francis Ford Coppola and Jack Nicholson got started in B movies. There are literally dozens of notable people who got their start because of Roger Corman, who isn't considered a "Hollywood" director by the way.
I actually saw The Terror thanks to mistress of the night Elvira and also loved how it doesn't make sense. I was and still am obsessed with Nosferatu so it's right up my alley.
Thanks. I actually have a DVD with the normal English version on it. It's got 3 movies: 1) Little Shop of Horrors [1960 B&W version], 2) The Terror [1963, also B&W], and 3) Dementia 13 [1963 B&W]. It advertises Corman's name on it, but Dementia 13 is only produced by him. It's actually directed by Coppola. I love Little Shop, but I just could never sit through the other two. I also have Jim Henson's remake of Little Shop (which is also great in its own way.) tavi.
