  • A web conference or webinar can be spoiled when the audio quality is not great. In this video, Dom Sigalas shows you how to create the right audio setup for a Zoom web conference with perfect sound. The video looks at everything you need, including a desktop or laptop computer, microphone, audio interface (in this case a Steinberg UR22C) and headphones. Headphones are recommended for streaming to avoid feedback loops, unpleasant echoes and to enjoy a clean sound. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your audio interface installed, connect your equipment and, if using a condenser microphone like the Steinberg ST-M01, activate phantom power. Dom also looks at using a lavalier microphone and uses the DSPmixFX app and front panel controls to set up gain level, choice of mono or stereo for the microphone and the blend between the interface inputs and the audio from your computer, for example a DAW or other app. You need to activate the Loop Back button, necessary for streaming online, and with DSPmixFX you can also activate a DSP-powered morphing channel strip to set up effects like compression, EQ setting and reverb. Finally, Dom then shows you how to configure the settings in Zoom to make sure participants in the webinar or web conference enjoy the benefits of your great sound.
We hope you find this video entertaining and useful. If you like what you see, please leave a comment and tell us what you think. Thank you.

So i assume that (as it's shown on the control panel) that with the URC USB, contrary to my UR22 you can have the output of your DAW (cubase) streamed or sent to Zoom or any other software with a great sound quality with no latency. (actually it's a trick to use Banana Voicemeeter and it lead to a bad latency).

Thanks for the video! I have a UR44. I've managed to connect it to my iphone successful via Lighting to USB 3 adapter and getting audio perfectly. Also have the DSP Mix FX app. Only issue is it's not recording audio on my Camera App or Via Instagram even though I hear the audio on my headphones during recording. I'm using Inputs 3 and 4 on my Steinberg as stereo coming from my mixer. Is there something I'm doing wrong?? Any help appreciated!! Thanks in advance

I just bought the UR22MKII and looks like it won't work for live streaming. Before I made another mistake just wanted to confirm - will the UR24C 2x4 USB 3.0 Audio able to stream live similar to UR22C ? Otherwise, I would stick with CR22c but not any available at the moment maybe a few in Amazon as of now...

It’s really sad that they don’t want to tell us, but think I figured it out, it’s probably an sennheiser AVX-MKE2 or AVX-ME2.
Update: what is shown is the ME2, the MKE2 is smaller and supposedly better, but also more expensive. Both are expensive 😢

    • @hludovicus4478

You can, but you'll get a hell lot of feedbacks. Because your mic will capture the sound of your speakers which will give you back your sound and so on.

If you compare it to a high quality USB Microphone (RØDE NT-USB for example), no. With the extra audio interface you gain flexibility and more input possibilities though.

@@user-kk1yi2sz1d you should have 4 inputs in the front and 2 in the back. I’m a guitarist and not into Keys, but I would recommend the two inputs in the back for keyboard.
