I ordered 2rs Trax and coming in 2 weeks. This confused me as well, looks better in the rear but the interior design, especially the screens are horrible... So I think I'll stay with Trax for now. It's all personal taste tho
@@lestat8656 do you plan on having the trax a long time? like 15 years and 200,000 miles. I am interested in the Trax or the Envista but I'm concerned about the reliability and longevity. Have a 2005 Toyota Sienna that I have owned since it was new. at 200,000 miles still going strong and have only done preventative maintenance. I wouldlove to go with the chevy or buick but wonder about long term
@@erich.4305 max 100K kms I would say since after that maintenance bills start to stack up. I have a 2012 Mazda 3 and after 100-120K kms the maintenance was not worth it. I think almost any car will be similar. With the price tag of these cars, I think it is worth it. The only question for now is Trax or Buick envista for me .
Which one did you decide? I am in the same body going back and forth between the ST Envista and Trax I want the Avenir with heated steering wheel and side mirrors but the colors offered aren't for me and the Trax doesn't have a power liftgate something I need with my disability so yeah I guess I'll have to test drive to decide
The 1.2 Liter 3 Cylinder Turbocharged Engine is growing on me! That 6 speed auto transmission works quite well with this little engine with plenty of low speed torque! Last but not least the ALL-NEW 2024 Buick Envista is VERY AFFORDABLE at a $23, 500 starting price! Yes!!!
We test drove a Preferred model. You are spot on about quietness, ride, and lol power, having half of a v6 lol. Very nice gas commute type car for sure. We're getting a ST model in Copper Ice Mettelic without the Watts link ( aka a pan hard bar ). 18" wheels, convenience 1 and 2 packages at $28,000 bucks. We'll see how the engine holds up, thinking when will we need to replace the turbo.
I'm an old-school V8 person. My concern is the longevity of a 3 cylinder turbo. Has GM used this engine anywhere else? I really like the Envista (and Trax) but the tiny engine worries me.
I will likely prefer the Envista's quiet cabin and more premium interior materials over Trax better handling. The Envista is probably the better highway cruiser. Both are good looking and priced competitively (assuming the stealerships don't mark them up). Will be looking at both along with the Mazda CX-30. Thanks for the nice POV review.
They've done a great job with this. Also as usual we can count on you Alex to give us a great hand on experience. Now I want to go check one out and drive it when they start showing up 🙂
The Buick Envista ST in this burgundy color looks quite nice indeed! The Envista has a quiet tuned suspension in this ST trim! The Envista is a sporty looking coupe indeed! Nice job Buick! P.S. FYI check on an engine treatment for the 1.2 Liter Inline 3 Cylinder GDI Turbocharged engine with a Nano-Lube base to guard against LSPI, Low Speed Pre-Ignition! Thanks...
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video looking forward to seeing this crossover here unfortunately i have put down a deposit for the chevy equinox ev 3LT because of the features im looking for this crossover im worried about the 3 cylinder engine and no rear wiper
Great review! Love the styling and can’t wait to test drive. I know this doesn’t have the Bose speakers, but what does the sound system sound like? Thanks!
Thanks for your kind words and the question. From the limited time I had with the sound system, it sounded pretty good. I noticed deep bass and no rattling of any kind. I'll need more time with the vehicle beyond to give more impressions. - AL
I was considering a Trax rs2, but I like the comfort of the Envista ST much better. Probably going to go with this over the Trax. Great review!

Front end gives me a partial Tesla impression. It’s a good looker.

Thank you for the detailed review!!! Good info to know before looking in person.👍👍
Great review! I appreciate the detail. 👍🏽
How's getting in and out, cars today are too low. Does the 3 cylinder engine run rough ?
I live in MI and no roads are really special, in fact they are shit really.
Why would essentially a Chevy traxx but with added McPherson front struts and watts rear link feel less sporty ?

@@Motrolix Thanks for your quick response! I’ll definitely have to check it out.
If they had made it a hybrid would be sweet
Very narrow front seats.
Great review. Thanks
Damn that looks really good
"The masses" that's communist talk...but my concern is the turbo-4 engine, how well it will hold up over time.
Uma excelente explicação
