You motivate me to pick up woodworking as a hobby. I find working with natural wood so soothing.
Would be cool to see you and Ishitani Furniture together once
I just love the sense of detail and high level of craftmanship in all your work! Beautiful results 🤩👍
Ishitani, Kobeomsuk.......
..and the rest of the world
This guy is good, but Ishitani is really a level above him still. Maybe in the future he can grow that that skill.
I love your movies. They relax me. I hope you don't give up on showing the concept stage when you create a model in Rhino :)
I had never thought of using a biscuit joiner like that before! Genius!
Totally! It does seem just right for this application, as it would be hard to run this giant frame through the tablesaw on a jig ;-)
yes, loved that too. i think we may add to the idea a quick jig to center on the frame corner ;)
Truly creative use of the biscuit joiner. I forgot the one guys name, but he uses a biscuit joiner to make dados. He starts it where he wants it, then just runs it down the entire piece for panels and such.
@@jasonc2376 Oh, that's a useful little "gold nugget" of info. Thank you for sharing that one! I could see using that to set the edges of a groove, then cleaning between with a router plane. You got my mental wheels spinning!
@@jasonc2376 Yeah I've seen people run them for table top fastener slots also.
Enjoy all your work. Peaceful and well executed. Did I see a Domino !!! Well played good Sir!
Wow, what a clever way to cut splines! Thanks for that and as always - great video :)
is it not fraught with possible disaster though? those slots have to be perfect, and that tool is a bit tear-out-y...
I always like the music on the background. But before I forget... your work it beautiful, precise. PERFECT
That turned out beautiful . Thanks for sharing.
Just found your page yesterday. You make incredible furniture.
Beautiful. I like it. Thanks for sharing
This is why I love your channel, good music and all the excellent carpentry work. Greetings from Hamburg Germany
It's all in the details. Very nice.
Nice, like the jig setup in the beginning 👏🏻
Nicely done.
Very nicely done.
Nice work, congratulations
I watch your videos with such a great pleasure. Guess I'll never have enough of your skills and style.
Beautiful 😊
It went so therapeutic when the added music took a pause 💚
Very nice!
Awesome !!!
Perfection as usual :)
Very nice 👍👍👍
WOW, I'd love to have that!!!
Very nice.
Ótimo !
You got the best jams going on! Lol
nice
👍💯👌
Can you post your playlist songs?
How to be like you? 😅 I really like watching you making furniture
Well that's ONE way to cut a spline lol
I was wondering if the branding iron is a custom job or if you purchased it? if custom is there a video of how that was made? Love the videos and work is beautiful as always. Keep it up
Its not expensive. We got the same kind of iron with our company name. Look into laser engravers than irons, as laser engraver has many many more functions
How much do wood windows cost?
I heard white oak is an exotic wood in Japan, In the US it is common, it literally grows on trees here. :) Fantastic build, I was just actually drawing up sketches to make one of these for my wife. Thanks for sharing this.
Also exotic in South Korea too.
@@terryreed1421 I spent a year in Korea but cant remember, What are the predominant woods there?
My point is that Kobeomsuk is from South Korea, not Japan. That's all.
Beautiful work! Did you glue the mirror to the frame?
Nop~
You need to make a facet on the mirror. Then the mirror will open in all its beauty.
Nerd time!😬
White oak I thought they were all burnt up🤔
Typical. The things you don’t see should be just as beautiful as the things you do see .
The author does like to from scratch, ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.
Since you had the space might have considered a french cleat. BFM for one bearing point.
I was thinking the exact same thing, and in fact I've made a mirror almost like this one _with_ a french cleat running the full length of the top. It wasn't until the end that I realized he designed it to _lean_ on a wall, and not hang. With it leaning, then the french cleat wouldn't work-well, unless you jiggered with the cleat angle VERY carefully. Another benefit of using a cleat is that the bottom can't swing away from the wall, as the angle of the cleat keeps it pressed firmly against the wall at the bottom.

When U make a box speakers
Nice to see you using the impact driver on fine furniture, perfect tool for the job. Nice one
That's not a problem if you don't hold the button like an idiot, you can control the strength
@@leolrq1846 Helps to know your wood too. Air dried white oak no problem; kiln dried red oak may be brittle & split.
@@drewt3210 I agree with both of you but just the way he said it, it's not totally stupid (but there is better)
I'm truly disappointed in your approach to work with wood
No craftsmanship in using fancy machines
I'll rather by something like that at Ikea...
Shame...
Do you hate woodworking?
Chase Perdue obviously we have different views of what woodvorking is
Do you live in Middle Ages?
Wtf man. I love working with hand tools but there is truly no shame in using powertools...
I think Kobe is a true cratsman. Its not like hes using a cnc for all the joinery.
Why? Cause he used a tablesaw, domino and biscuit joiner? Have you watched any of his other videos!? Good luck finding something like this at ikea.
Very nice !
