The penalty system doesn`t work and the community getting more toxic week by week.
There’s a reason that Bugatti super sport had a 5+ second penalty in total. I understand that car is a boat, but he was killing everyone!

Check last corner last lap :D like 0,1 sec penalty for that corner cutting is insane :D He should have 15 secs not 5 ..
In the second race, really nice to see you and the McLaren working really hard to give each other space even amongst all that carnage. Well done.

R Class is either peak fiesta or peak racing; I had an epic battle with some dude in an f50 GT around Watkins Glen while I was driving the McLaren Senna. Nice clean racing around one of the nicest circuits ever, he even messaged me a thumbs up+ a compliment afterwards.

I love how the higher in race classes you get in Forza, the more the driving standard drops, until you're at the highest class and the driving standard has dug itself through the center of the Earth and found itself in Beijing.
Jesus you can run through the grass and have no penalty but when you actually try, then you get heavy penalties for it. Am I supposed to try or drive like a alcoholic?

If you avoid a collision, and the meantime you run out of the track, the game not gonna give you any penalty, but if you gain like 0.5 sec gap because of the cutting, you will get a penalty! It works fine!

Something I learned pretty early on in FM is just don't try to pass on the outside and expect the guy inside to not run you off the track.

Honestly hilarious. People can’t even maintain their positions properly, and then get pissed then they get overtaken. It’s all tantrums, none of these kids actually know HOW to drive.
Devs should really add a votekick feature once a player causes more than 5 accidents with other players. Then again even these races show you can get a penalty for getting hit. Maybe it’s best not to give toxic players the opportunity to votekick better players at all, still the rammers are so frustrating.
Top 3 in first race...top 5 in second is really impressive, considering you were being rammed left right and centre!..your composure is excellent.
1:42 got rammed like that in past 5 races and I GOT the penalties (2sec in almost all).
Because of that, i downgraded to B and then C safety ratings by the first time.
Went to Forza GT to recover my dignity 😢

On the contrary, I think this game has the best automated penalty system to date
When you are using a Race transmission, in settings, set the gear change to manual with clutch. You don't need the clutch and the car will shift even faster. Going by the sound I think you're just on manual. (not that you need to be any faster...)
Hey @Grandma Driving! I've been following your Forza horizon series for years, and one thing I love about those videos is you'd try out different cars and leave out their tune sharecodes as well for the rest to try. Would it be possible to start sharing tunecodes for Forza motorsport as well?

All you have to do is lift and tap brake for 10ms after pitting someone sideways into a wall to completely break the penalty system. Built from the ground up.

Looking at the terrible choice of multiplayer races this week, I've taken a break from Forza. You can have million HP cars and a destroyed rating, or go to touring (bumper) cars... and get a destroyed rating!
I hope the Open Class is more sensible one next week.

That bugatti veyron in the 2nd race really needs to understand what penalties are.
Your videos are very entertaining; you do a great job with them and obviously a very talented driver. Overall they're pretty definitive proof that Forza Motorsport is a game, played by gamers on game consoles with game controllers. It's like a bowling game with cars. The players (they're not drivers) will get on their shooter game or fantasy RP or whatever as likely as play this. So you get exactly the results you document so well, in those circumstances.

I’ve been using the missionR and beating people and they are legit pissed about it. Getting ran off the road getting told to get a real car amongst other things. Zero etiquette in any lobbies outside of the gt and touring cars.

A lot of the chaos was definitely the playerbase being unable to handle R-Class cars correctly, but that Ferrari and Bugatti were both malicious imo

@@Standgedicht Do you want a system this broken to be given the ability to actually dole out consequences? One misread bump being read as "race-ruining" by the AI when it was the other driver's fault immediately kicking you would definitely be much worse for the game.

They should add a spectator modality, where they would have a position that could carry out a human analysis of these attitudes and apply penalties or expulsions from the races.

T10 should impliment a skill matchmaking where those who are poor drivers/unsafe drivers get matched with similar folks.

I think he did just fine with the circumstances that had been presented to him, Granted, yes he could have q'd but based on content gained from not doing so gives us more insight into the multi-player aspect of the game.

KindaHydra in that McLaren was super classy and polite! And at the other end of the spectrum, fuck people like Rubc91. Should have been booted rather than being allowed to wrack up 5.00 seconds in penalties.
It seems that players are starting to realize how to PIT other drivers without incurring a collision penalty. Something needs to be done.

The penalty in this game are so unjust and inconsistent 😢😢
Forza needs to make you an mod or give you a special place to report these people.
The people doing this crap need to be banned for a week at minimum so they realize they can't just purposely be hitting people off track.
The penalty system sucks and doesn't work well enough to actually encourage clean driving. I find you are less likely to get a penalty for just pushing people off than avoiding hitting them and then accidentally hitting them later.

Tbh, your car had some serious handling issues. It was wobbly like you had no downforce or traction
Probably a mixture of both. Then again they use mouse and keyboard, so the have to press a button to keep the speed up istead of gradually increasing the throttle. Considering said button means "wide open" whenever they press it, the rear tires break loose if they hold the key for a little too long.
@@thecollector4753 not exactly. He drives other carsk pretty well and steer smoothly. There is a deadzone for steering with k&m so it does not go instantly from 0 to 100%

on european server, it was the same. so i just play 2 races and give up the r class weekly.
Whats the point of ramming someone if you aren't getting ahead. If i rammed someone and still ended up behind them, I'd feel like a dumbass.
If I can suggest: can you please scroll down in the Results page to see the other drivers’ penalties? It’s fun to look at considering someone may have gotten more than 5 seconds of penalties.

Seriously why does almost every FM online race first lap descend into utter chaos all the time? Also the one thing I know I’ll rarely see in these videos is quality racing because the FM online community is utter trash, I’m surprised the people who do want to race fair have the patience to continue lol

Yup. I just don't understand why braking is such a difficult concept in FM. If you run quick on someone's rear, back off. Practice patience and use race craft to set up a pass. Fkrs think this is horizon lobbies just smash the throttle.
