Weird, the only experiences I can recall from racing in GTA Online public lobbies are getting pit maneuvered at every corner, people driving in the opposite direction to hit you head first, people rage quitting as soon as they realize they're one corner behind and think they can't win anymore...
What i noticed about Forza players is that during races they have it in their heads when and where they need to turn to take the corner and wether there's somebody next to them or not, by god, they will take it. Think of the 'Family guy, asian woman "good luck everyone" clip

Looks like all the shitty drivers went from FM7 over to the new FM. I still play FM7 and pretty much all rammers are gone and the lobbies are a lot more fun because of it
Personally if you get a low class the braking line should be turned on in multiplayer indefinitely for said player until they start to figure things out. To be fair, pushing and shoving is present in nearly all online racers sans the ones you have to actually pay money for. It's part of the game and as a "good" driver I've had my fair share of mistakes that lead driver veering off the road. The same can be said about ANY player who is good. Accidents happen especially in games like this that rely so heavily on latency between drivers.

Still think you should little arrows next to the MPH text to show which direction steering you are inputting. Its not as enjoyable without those inputs. Guess ill have to wait until the next long one where inputs are visible.

That works for a game like forza horizon but this game is supposed to be about proper racing. The first corner in a track race is extremely important. Launch control and corner entry and exit on the first corner dictates the starting flow of the race. What we need is split lobbies and a better penalty system that punishes bad driving over being taken out by bad drivers. Would also help if people just learned to leave space and not take corners as if other players don't exist.
A penalty system that work would be great. A system with drive trough penalties and things like that instead addibg time at the end. I'm so sick of seeing guys at the podium with 4 to 7 second penaltys. It's a joke, useless and meaningless. The rammer community is made by Turn10
I think people are getting fed up with the quirks of time penalties? For example, at 3:00 that IV7 guy would rather risk a collision than getting penalized for going off track. (for which you get 0.20s at 3:36 for narrowly avoiding a car pile-up!)
If people only spent time racing rather than purposefully knocking or blocking you. They would be better racers. You're awesome bro, you deserve to get your ass ate every time you race.
That's the kind of people who just don't brake into corners :( I'm only playing Forza Horizon, but even in TEAM RACES against AI, many people will do that to you. Or not let you pass if you're clearly faster. Or try to block you to their best ability. It's harrowing
FOrza needs to ramp up that safety system. The player count is already abysmally low, so you wont piss off any new players. But, they need to instill race etiquette. If you and another racer IN FRONT OF YOU, both shoot for a corner, and the racer in front of you is ON THE PREFERRED RACING LINE, and you make contact that results in them losing position, stability, or time, that is reason enough for a warning. enough of those warnings should result in a boot from the lobby. Enough boots from the lobby should result in a "time out" phase, starting at 15 minutes, then bumping up to 30, 1 hour, 2 hours, 5 hours, 10 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, etc etc etc. Next is having Ai recognize who is actually driving/using the controller/making input selections when earning safety ratings vs who is just setting the cars on AFK mode to level up safety ratings, and have a bad player safety rating memory, that has the opposite effect of a half life. If you were ranked F at any point, it is remembered for X amount of time, and counts toward your average heavier than say somebody who was ranked C or D. But if you consistently rank up to B, A, or S, a single F rank wont plummet you into hell with other griefers. You have a chance to redeem yourself easier than the regular griefer who is just going to level up to S just to be in clean lobbies. Let it be known that type of dirty racing is not permissible. There is absoulutely NO reason for A class lobbies to look 8 times worse than S, R, P , or even X class lobbies. THE CARS ARE EASIER TO CONTROL DOWN HERE!!!

Quit qualifying and start from behind. I enjoy it to watch the first corner crashes and the bunch of idiots going off track. I was at skill level 2500 with qualifying than I start to skip qualy. Yet I'm at 4300 and S rank
