  • I almost always transition my plants using the long method. It gives me peace of mind that I can react accordingly during the water stage if something goes wrong. I’m not an expert, so any advice is appreciated! If you do have any questions, I can answer them according to my experience.
Also, I’m still tweaking my editing style, so let me know what you prefer in terms of when there’s music, voiceovers, captions, what you’d like to see in detail, what can be sped up etc. Thank you! 🫶

My favorite part about your plants is seeing how happy they look! Look at them, all healthy!
Also, your English is great! Everything you say comes across perfectly in both verbal and written communication.

Thank you so much! 🙏 I do try to keep them healthy, it’s still easy, since I don’t have too many 😄
Thanks for complimenting my English, I’m kind of self-conscious about it 😅 My spoken English used to be much better when I was using it on a daily basis but it’s been years…

@@DaphneTriesPlants as someone who hopes to raise a plant or few someday, this is educational.
I honestly can't tell that it's been so long. You speak so confidently, as though you never stopped. It sounds so natural.

@@coreymichaels3389 I’m happy to hear someone’s finding my content useful! I’m only a year into the hobby and I’m still learning but I enjoy sharing my journey 😊
Believe me, I should be embarrassed about the current state of my spoken English, given that I’m an English Philology BA 😅 I think my main problem is I’ve always been anxious about public speaking. Hopefully, making these videos will change that

I liked that you used a little bit of water for it to grow roots. I see how that can be useful. I think I might have to try that idea. It’s almost forcing them to grow roots. Also, good idea for letting it callus over. Smart plant parent. Thanks for sharing the long method.

Yes, I think especially for plants that prefer drier conditions, it works better to have the water in the prop vessel shallower. The cut was bothering me. I knew if I covered it, it would probably rot. And I was thinking of putting off potting it until it calluses over but if I had left it in the jar, it would have probably moulded like it did before. So that was the only thing I could think of 😅 The cut was dry the next day and I covered it. Thank you for watching and commenting! ❤️❤️❤️

@@DaphneTriesPlants Glad the cut dried the next day. Your method of forcing roots I think I might try that for a hoya.

@@mixonplantsncrafts let me know how it works, I think when the root nubs on the stem are near the water, the humidity should help them grow 😊
