I love the fact that they made Sanford more serious and Deimos more goofy. Very well fitting and I know in the series they were like that but in the game Sanford sounded goofy and Deimos sounded like he experienced every world catastrophe

I think krinkles needs to finish the series First before a live action movie I'd honestly love it if the entire madness combat series became live action maybe starting with bits and pieces of project nexus to start then going into actual madness combat episodes (with "Jesus" and the sheriff and all that)reimagined into a more potent story also if nexus gives us more lore to Nevada's creation or the auditor and the like then we can definitely get a fully fleshed out movie for sure I bet krinkles would be on board if he greenlit something like this or we could simply get madness project nexus the movie I think there's enough game content in the campaign for them to make a movie out of it just think about it

I love hank's body language. So casual, yet savage.

Just like how Hank acts in the game. It's perfect.
It feels so silly, but the amount of joy I got seeing my favorite character being played by an asian person is immeasurable. I have adored Deimos since I saw him for the first time nearly a decade ago, and to see him come to life played by someone like me is a dream come true.
Nah, not silly at all! Representation is awesome, and making Madness live action was a great opportunity for some to happen.
If you need a character to look like you to get excited then you need to do some soul searching champ.

If this ends up being a live-action adaptation of ‘Madness Combat’, I’m definitely gonna watch it.
This feels like a proof of concept for a Live Action Madness series or movie.
Man at first I wasn't on board with Madness Combat having voiced dialogue, but the casting and personality types for basically everyone here, especially Sanford and Deimos, is essentially perfect, they're exactly how I imagined them in my head even before the game came out.
For me not really, I prefer grey cross faced dudes with no limbs and floating hand and feet

IRL Hank is something I never imagined Id ever see.... He was so beautiful. Hope we get more live action shorts! So cool to see how far a couple cool animations I watched in middleschool like 15 years ago has come.

Yeah, It’s really fun to see fighting and action that’s actually good. They should make some grunts stronger, and the Zeds can spit acid too. They’re called Swamp Zeds. If you’re in the movie, try to tell them to make Swamp Zeds and stronger Grunts.

This trailer is a complete masterpiece!!!! The team did wonderful work here!, and deimos's expression is a match to his personalities, sanford's is a badass guy that will crack your bone in a second and there's 2bd too! i'm super hyped for the trailer in the first time, and it was worth the wait.

As someone who still remembers seeing _MC4: Apotheosis_ on the front page of Newgrounds in 2004, this brings a tear to my eye.
I’m also new here! I got introduced to the series because I’m currently in a D&D campaign in which everything is from different fandoms, except for our party who got transported to this chaotic fever dream of a world. Our characters are currently in Nevada and like half the party died and now Hank is bullying me for being sad about my friends dying. I adore him, I think he’s fun, but my D&D character does not like him and just wants to leave but they can’t because if they do then he’s gonna kill them 🥲

I love this, the cgi needs some work but it's also good for this project, doesn't have to be realism, kinda like sin city cgi and the gore should be messy like 300, damn hope this gets the support it deserves

We need a full episode like this, seriously, I think it would be the best thing this community has ever seen. This in itself is already one of the greatest feats of the whole of Madness Combat!
I played the whole story mode, and I must say this is EXTREMELY accurate to the game, congrats to everyone who worked on this, and if one day this becomes an actualy movie, I would 100% watch it.

Now that I think about it, I think this would do well if given an actual budget and was a movie.
I don't even have words for this. The costume design, voice actin, action -- it is so incredibly amazin on so many levels I cannot even put it into words. I am DESPERATELY hopin that one day a full film is made...or at least considered. Everyone did such a fantastic job and I would love to see more, even if it is just more shorts and trailers.

This story trailer looks FIRE!!!! i love the details and how the costumes are made. our community is the best one so far in my opinion, waiting 20+ years for cinematic trailer, with detailed characters like Jebus, Tricky (Hoffnar), Phobos, Deimos , Sanford,2B, EVEN THOSE GRUNTS! was really worth it, just the colours that fit into the atmosphere are awesome... THATS SOME GOOD FUCKING JOB!
Happy to see the whole Madness community and it's great contributors still kicking to this day. The Madness Combat series is probably one of the best things to come out of Newgrounds in all its years.
