Dorood. Omidvaram khalet shomaa khube bashe. Thank you for your kind reply. I understand. I use various persian language teachers on YT and I greatly prefer that they speak persian. Sepaas gozaram. 😊
Hopefully once I get to advanced level I’ll switch to Farsi. It is actually a lot more easier for me to explain in Farsi since English is not my native language and sometimes it’s hard for me to explain some concepts in English. But again I would like the lessons to be useful to a wide range of viewers. خواهش مى كنم
Thank you so much! I see that you are an Urdu teacher yourself and you have many lessons. Are you learning Farsi as well? At some point in future I would like to learn Urdu, I will definitely refer to your channel.
Such great timing! I've long had a few doubts regarding flexiblity in the Persian sentence structure and this just resolved them. And it helped me TONS. Thank you so much!
Yes, today I published the last video for beginner level and from now on, any new videos published will be at intermediate level. I'm actually excited for that. Teaching intermediate level is easier for me than beginner. More flexibility! Thank you for watching my videos! Stay tuned!
Aww, thank you so much! You just gave me more motivation! The beginner level is finished, from now on I will be publishing videos for intermediate level.
Thanks Maryam again for your videos, you're great. Neither English nor Persian are my native languages, so this is a challenge for me, and I like to take it!
Encore une leçon parfaite, aussi claire que complète. It's really impossible to raise any question since everything is already fully explained. Kheyly mamnunam Maryam djoon.
Merci beaucoup, vous êtes toujours très gentil! Thank you for watching and leaving me comments. The beginner level is finished, from now on I will be publishing videos for the intermediate level.
Maryam khanom, thank you for all the hard work and effort you put into making these wonderful videos. Please continue making them. We need them! I know it must be very time consuming to make videos of this quality. Thank you for your efforts. Much love and respect from USA.
Thank you so much!! You have no idea how encouraging your comments are! So far I am planning to move forward and the next videos will be all at intermediate level.
Thank you so much Swee Chuan. I remember your name, you have left me very kind comments before, especially when I first started a year ago which were very encouraging. Thank you for still watching my videos, I'm glad my lessons are helpful for the learners. You make me one happy teacher as well :)
All I know in Persian is: خیلی ممنون من علی That's all, I really want to learn Persian so I can starting reading Saadi and Ahmad Shamloo poetry. خیلی متشکرم عزیزم.
I learned that را can come after a question word. 28:11 Can you also say: تو کدام ماشین را بیشترین دوست داری؟ (I thought "bishtarin" is superlative form like "most" )
You raised a very good questions! بیشترین is the superlative form and cannot be used in this example because it always needs to be followed by a noun. In English it works, but in Farsi بیشترین is a bit tricky. It can be used like the following, کدام شهر بیشترین تعداد ماشین ها را دارد؟ = which city has the most cars? بیشترین is followed by تعداد ماشین ها کدارم را بیشتر دوست داری؟ = which one do you like the most? Like in the above example, in English you are using " the most " but in Persian because there is no noun mentioned then we just use " بیشتر" I hope that was helpful, please let me know if you have any other questions!
I might be later confused by this one in another context: seh kīlo-ye sīb -- is specific in number -- why does that not make sīb definite? -- So number of a general class of something isn't definite? Can you give an example making sīb definite? Thank you, Maryam! (this was at c. 30.04)
Thank you for your question and for providing me the timestamp. Here, it does not get را, because if you add را then it’s like saying in English, my mother bought THE three kilos of Apple. Even though it’s 3 kilos and it’s a bit more specific but it’s still indefinite, because it could be any kinds of apple and it’s not referring to a specific kind of apple. I hope that makes sense, let me know if it’s not clear and I’ll explain more.
The phrase ديگه نبايد means: I should not … anymore For example ديگه نبايد شام زياد بخورم I should not eat dinner anymore ديگه نبايد لباس بخرم I should not buy clothes anymore ديگه نبايد مسافرت كنم I should not travel anymore The word ديگه has different meaning: other, else, anymore
I’m sorry but lesson 1 will not be uploaded soon. I’m working on other lessons for now. I recommend you to use other resources for the alphabet for now. Like other channels. Hopefully someday in future I can finish the lesson about the alphabet.
سلام، امیدوارم که حالتان خوب باشین. من این جمله را نویشتم اگر درست نیست، اصلاح کنید : من خیلی کم فارسی صحبت میکنم چون مبتدی هستم و از فقط سه ماه فارسی یاد میگیرم.
Good job 👏👏 It just need a little change. من فارسى خيلى كم صحبت مى كنم، چون هنوز مبتدى هستم، و فقط سه ماهه ( سه ماه هست) كه دارم فارسى ياد مى گيرم. Let me know if you have any other questions 🙋♀️
Thank you for your feedback. The lessons are beginner level and intermediate level, if I speak Farsi most of the learners won’t be able to understand. I want to make sure learners understand what I say. I only explain in Farsi at the advanced level. The explanations for Beginner and intermediate level will be in English so there’s no confusion for the learners.

Do you do tutoring
Sorry at this point I don't. But maybe in future. I will post a link in UA-cam if I decide to do private tutoring in future.
What software do you use?
I just use PowerPoints, there are a lot of software out there, but I'm used to using PowerPoint.
Help me with the word دیگہ نباید
The phrase ديگه نبايد means:
I should not … anymore
For example
ديگه نبايد شام زياد بخورم
I should not eat dinner anymore
ديگه نبايد لباس بخرم
I should not buy clothes anymore
ديگه نبايد مسافرت كنم
I should not travel anymore
The word ديگه has different meaning: other, else, anymore
