I love your book stack of the books you’ve read for November. I feel like you give an honest review on all of them, always. I’m impressed by the volume you have read. So many ppl have found Libby now that I can seldom get the audiobooks I want to read (and I prefer not to buy them from audible). It was good to see Lucy, but a day without Patty is a day without sunshine ☀️. Thanks for sharing.
Great wrap up! ⭐️ I’m def. gonna reserve We Used To Live Here. I absolutely loved Love, Pamela 💖 I did the audiobook as well. I’m so glad she read it, because it’s incredible to actually listen to her tell her story. And I agree, her love and passion for the arts and nature really come through and are so inspiring! Yknow she may be my first memoir relisten. So glad you enjoyed it! p.s. you mentioned in a previous video about maybe doing a Stephen King read along. Please do! I’d love to join (I’ve never actually read his books 😅 though I’ve read plenty of his recs 😂)
thanks so much for watching! Yes Love, Pamela is so good isn't it! I think you will also love We Used to Live Here. Yay! hoping to restart King readalongs next year so will mention it here when I do
I love Flowers in the attic. It was my first real toe dipping into the horror genre. As a child, who do you trust more to keep you safe than your parents and the fact that mom is how mom is just struck a chord with me. I have read it probably five or six times but not in years.
are you in the UK it’s because ir doesn’t have a uk publisher so try this seller who i got it on ebay from rarewaves-outlet and it was normal book price
Haha five star movie? Your review of Malorie was my review of Bird Box the movie. I thought it was terrible (from the opinion of someone who has read the book) I find movie adaptations of books always have great potential, but more often than not, in my opinion, they usually fall short and can be disappointing. I thought Malorie was a great follow up. It continued the story well, showed the progression of their journey, survival and character development, and the conclusion worked really well for the story and gave a more hopeful future for the characters. The hints to the reason of their success at surviving so far were quite subtle, but became clearer and I was happy with the reasoning for it, it seemed obvious to a point but only after I'd read it. I'm a big fan of both the books 😊
i’m glad you loved both books i wish i had too and weirdly i think the order in which i read - saw bird box movie, then read book, then read malorie - have definitely impacted my experience. but i hope others see this comment too and give it a go. i am sending my copy to my friend who wants to read it and i hope she enjoys it as much as you did 😊
I found that “Mistletoe Mystery” by Nita Prose has its charm and has a festive flavour so I would rate it a bit higher than you did. However, I agree that Molly needs to rely less on her boyfriend for validation. Also, the title is misleading because there wasn’t much of a mystery.
@@MeMyDogAndBooks I forgot to mention that Nita Prose has a new book coming out in April, “The Maid’s Secret.” Let’s hope it’s an improvement over “The Mistletoe Mystery.”

i think that’s why i’m like if you want some festive romance ignore me and give it a go, think i was wanting more cosy murder 😂
@@MeMyDogAndBooks Me too. More of a cosy murder was what I thought I was getting into.
