Do you recommend to get American Specs in Dubai? I absolutely loved a 2017 Maxima i came across just recently and i really wanna get it. The GCC spec prices are high. Please advise.
The Maximas CVT is built to handle the hp the engine puts out. It’s a larger CVT than what you would find in an Altima, or a Sentra. The last gen pathfinder could tow up to 6,000 lbs with a CVT and car & driver named it one of the best for towing in its class lol. Y’all hear one thing about a few generations of 4cyl CVT Nissans and you think you know it all. I’ve had my 17 Maxima since new. It now has 74k on it and I’ve literally had no issues. And I’m not someone who drives the car nicely.
Good Lord, thank you.😂 We literally don’t even have 10 transmission failure reports on Consumer Reports of this generation. I can’t with Maxima haters smh.🤦♂️ Finally someone with some common sense out here.😂

@@TheMaxima2004 not true at all lol...maximas have the high torque cvts and they literally almost never break...just because the 07 sentra cvts sucked doesn't mean they all do
Yo guy this not SR SO TAKE THAT OFF. Exhaust pipes have Liquid Chrome finishers. One thing you can't get with the SR is the panoramic moonroof available on other Maximas. ... All Maximas get this 300-horsepower V6 engine. It's the familiar VQ 3.5-liter, which Nissan says has 60% new parts

I noticed the diamond cut wood grain, quilted leather seats and the perforated leather inserts in the steering wheel which here in the U.S. are all reserved for the platinum trim. But then saw the paddle shifters and wheels which are SR model features but you answered my question. One change Nissan made is that the SR trim comes with a Pano sunroof for 2K19 and newer.

Oh my god, the sound system in the Maxima is the worse sound i have ever had !!! just increase little bit the volume and all you hear is distortion. How for god sake can you say that the sound system with the very low end Bose speakers is good !! loool

CVT transmission loooooooooooooool, yeah disposal transmission that will break in less than 100k if you are lucky And if you are not that lucky it will break over 100 K !!!
I have had 4 maximas never had cvt issues always have my transmission service though take care of your car and you will have no major problems

i agree i have this 2016 vehicle, its smooth. when I go 90mph I often am caught offguard and woah i need to slow down.

Just want to let you know you forgot to turn off the Traction Control. Makes a HUGE difference! Especially in the acceleration.

CVT Constantly Variable Transmission, there are no gears. Its a constant adjustment.
The only injustice done to this car was that CVT. This engine and a torque converter/stick would have been awesome.

What’s the difference between sr and Platinum because in my view they almost look the same trim
Nthn too different the platinum has memory seats ,Sun roof n I believe a rear shade but def same outside trim
