Going on the trek to find your dinner place was but a few steps from your hotel, I always say getting lost is integral to making HAPPY memories :) This was delightful, thanks so much! Btw we received the v-neck t-shirt and my dh loves it, he feels very "european" and exotic wearing it!

The sassi part of Matera is for tourists, the 50 families who lives there owns or operates hotels, airbnb etc. and bars and restaurants. Although the city very beautiful the food is not that great there’s nothing really special or can make you wow. The people are very nice and honest and you can walk around at night feeling safe. why ON EARTH did you put the oil on the prosciutto? you spoilt it completely!!!
why ON EARTH aren't you putting it on?? 😂LOL Try it my friend...it's not supposed to swim in oil, just an accent and compliment of flavor!
Ahah hi Mark, no my friend this Is a step too further for me :) anyway you do a great job in describing my country, i really enjoy It! Buy next time, go and visit the North of Italy too! My region, Lombardia, is known overall for industries and finance, but there many beautiful places.... Check out my town, Bergamo, it's a 45 minutes of train from Milan... You'll love it!!
@@stefano87bg49 I hope to be heading that way in two weeks...I have an opportunity that popped up last minute...I would love the north too and really need to explore it more! Thank you so much for watching my friend, and welcome to the channel. I love Italy...as you can tell! 😀
@@EuroTrotter well, i'm looking forward to watching your videos on northern Italy then! staying in Milan, you can do many one-day trips, to Bergamo, Torino, Mantova, Verona, Parma... basically any town in northern Italy is wonderful and hides little and big traesures... and don't miss Sirmione: it's basically a Taormina-like little town at the bottom of Garda lake... enojy it ;)
Bravo, "BRUSCHETTA" non "bruscetta" xD. la bruscetta sarà qualche porcheria francese! xD
all this finished with the coronavirus!!!!! :(

Obviously not
hotter than hot.......its hot lol
I'v seriously never melted so much in my life, it was really unbearable LOL
The sassi part of Matera is for tourists, the 50 families who lives there owns or operates hotels, airbnb etc. and bars and restaurants. Although the city very beautiful the food is not that great there’s nothing really special or can make you wow. The people are very nice and honest and you can walk around at night feeling safe. Incredible city. I used google map all throughout and had no problem with it, gave me alternative ways to get to my destination.
Thanks for watching and sharing this information Paula!
Nothing really special?. Are you kidding?. Their bread is delicious!. The bakery's focaccia too.
Matera looked to arid and has no green space. Also, way to hot for me.
Green is in the new zone of the city, with parks too. Sassi are the old part. Matera is a special city.
