    I am very appreciative of your exposing the thought process behind it. There are too many tutorials out there on how to do something, but you exposed the why behind what you did.

      Thanks image66media. And that is very insightful feedback. I will lean into this way of sharing my thought process. My hope with the channel is to share videos like this as well as the full mixes which are the culmination of the work, so I can show both the process and final product :)

    WOW, I love the way you told us your thought process behind the remix,as well as guiding us through it. I’m new to the digital world but I used to mix “your caress DJ flavours” back on my 1210s years ago so you can imagine how I loved what you created with the vocal. I was tingling inside! What an awesome end product that was. Thank you 🙏

    First I want to say I think you are incredibly talented as a DJ, wow that mix was amazing, but also the explanation was marvelous. I’m a beginner DJ, I do it as a hobby I’m in my 40s and always wanted to DJ so I decided finally to take it up as something I love, even though I don’t plan to be a professional, I think your explanation was clear, I understood everything you were doing and everything you were trying to accomplish with the mix. Seeing this is so inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing.

If there is anything in particular you want to see, I can’t promise I can do it but if I can I will try and share something around it. This was really helpful, I’m keen to move my DJing on to using 3/4 decks doing remixes and making my DJing more creative and unique. I started watching your videos a few weeks back and enjoyed watching your style.
    It would be great to see more of these videos, maybe with a little bit on the early part where you set your cues for the different elements and how you map out your routine etc. Thanks again for the great videos. 👍👍

      @@ebow707 we all make those mistakes. As long as we learn. At one point I had an ableton setup to another daw both running through a DJM mixer on ch 1. Then a Microkorg and a Roland Fantom with sampler/beatpads in channel 3&4 and a cdj on ch 2 in my setup.
      Got rid of most of the hardware for a controller and figured I could do most of what I do using ableton vs the hardware. I kept the DJM mixer bc it’s my fav but I still regret that decision everyday. But at the time I thought my setup was overkill and I was doing club gigs in AC that made the synths redundant anyway. But you can’t go back haha. Props on the mix as well.

      @@mholliday3476wow that set up you had initially 🤯 but you are right - it would work for going to gigs but you could also make your life easier by getting the same effect and switching it up slightly. Just know that was a tough decision chief!

    Nice work, im achieving similar results using my Akai and my RX3 sampler and 2 decks, deffo key is knowing the tunes and showing the work involved live as the streaming listeners / viewers would be none the wiser

    • @ebow707
      @ebow707  3 місяці тому

      Boom! Another Akai user and decks. I def haven’t pushed mine to its full live potential yet. How long have you have yours? I found the learning curve steep but then the workflow suddenly made sense

    • @imixedthis4u
      @imixedthis4u 3 місяці тому

      @@ebow707 had my Akai a couple of years, its the MPK Mini, I just use it sparingly as my controller is pretty stacked with sampler and looping features, plus the genre I play has been worked on by the artists, Play house, deep house & Afro beats to try to keep it as simple as possible with the odd enhanced transition here and there.
      Less is more sometimes.

    How is it all going with the new gear? Would you recommend changing from the Denons still bro?

    • @ebow707
      @ebow707  3 місяці тому +1

      @@djvdjvDJV I remember we chatted a while ago didn’t we! Yeah it’s going really well. I understand the workflow now which was my main thing and I have confidence that when I turn up to a gig that I feel comfortable so I can find my groove really quickly. The recommend changing is such a tricky one… I pondered that question for so long and reading the comments on the original video about changing from Denon there were definitely merits supporting going both ways. I can’t lie … Denon is ahead if you were to do a side by side on the decks. However how I use the Pioneer some of the simplicity has worked in my favour oddly

    • @djvdjvDJV
      @djvdjvDJV 3 місяці тому

      @ebow707 yes bro we did have that conversation a while ago and wanted to give you sometime to get used to the gear before I hit you up again. Sounds like you're enjoying the experience with the gear and building up a new skill set. It makes total sense to do so on the Pioneer as it is the club standard... Just way out my budget atm. Agree about the Denon technology being more advanced. I'll definitely keep checking back with you if that's cool. Keep up the great work. The vids are very useful
