You did this very nice. I thought the way you did the cape was cool. You did a really good job on the trunks as well. The belt though , that was real smart. I like the way you cut it and made it to fit together. I've had trouble using Velcro to make the belt fit tight and stuff and it just doesn't do it for me. I need to learn to see those knots you used.

I'm so pleased to hear from this! I was struggle for couple days after breaking the belt, I've looking for all possible replacement until I saw the yellow tape...thanks god it work perfectly!!

I recently discovered this same figure and a nice head sculpt. I was literally planning to do the same mod! I'm glad I found this video! You just saved me lots of time with great tricks to use!

It's never been easy to get a favorite movie 1/6 scale figures, all we can do is wait till its releases, and when it available, it doesn't come cheap...so I study, experiment and learn how to build my own with available resources, and share my journey with others whoever needs. I did this kit bash custom 2 years ago using a TBLeage M33 the costume is great I had to cut down the boots as for the cape it's beautiful material free flowing, I made a custom dynamic cape posing stand (see my tutorial video) looks amazing fighting Spiderman 😁 you did a great job especially with the belt I used a large Kinder egg 😊 hope to see more from you brother 😎

I actually bought the HT Chris Reeve Supes when he came out, but this is really nice. With the way it costs now, I would advise anyone to follow your method now.

The body shape is decent, but it's too small for Christopher Reeve. While he wasn't muscular per se, he was still large. I think the Phicen M33 would have faired better, there's another guy somewhere on UA-cam who used the M33 and it looks fantastic.

Glad you loves the video, I has works my ass out and try to do it with more entertaning LOL... Yes, its true...I also think the body is bit too small for Christopher Reeve. Maybe in the future will replace with better body type like M33. Thanks for the suggestions and support, stay toned.
It's weird, the difference between the M33 and M34 doesn't seem like much, but it is. The M34 is way too muscular for Reeve. The M33 is perfect. Reeve wasn't nearly as close to muscular as Cavill is. I think the M33 is the right choice....if you really want to add more muscle, but not as much as M34, cotton balls for stuffing certain areas works without the awkward looking Reeve head on the bulky M34 body.
True, I’ve been looking for best Reeve body and have a same feeling before...for now I’m happy with this body, I think the shape is good but bit too small...now I’m looking new Reeve head sculpt, hopefully it will looks even better!
@@DreamsZoneToys Finnally I decided to improve my old C.Reeve custom (with a ganghood muscular body). I also think M33 it is a more accurate body to this custom, however I chose as well a Jiaou Doll body (I selected the strong body, I think you used the athletic one) because Phice/Tbleague is too expensive (and currently more expensive because UE changed the taxations to the import items) and I think the result is quite good with the Jiaou Doll.

Does the Chris R head not look right on the body that comes with the figure?
The Tbleague m33 suntan body matches the color of the Christopher Reeve head quite well.
I was thought about to use that body before.. but I think it too muscular... that why I selected JiaouDoll, but I've ordered the "normal skin" tone... should have go for the "wheat skins" or "Suntant skins" tone.😅

I made it with normal shoe glue, or you ca get the UHU glue, it will do the same.
Great job to 99%. The one I don't like are the shoes who should be boots. But the rest of it is very very nice.

Not at all...Mainly is the Reeve's head-sculpt, Superman suit from Crazy toy and Jiaou doll male body (which is also one of the cheapest).

What kind of yellow tape did you use for the belt?
Not sure if you still need the info and I don't know about this customiser but I have seen other customisers use yellow electrical tape. This looks similar.

I know right...Me too, I've been looking for it over months.
Before, I've also thought of custom-made it from the 1/6 scale male blue bodysuit and custom print superman logo, but I've no clue how to make the boots.
There is a custom-made superman costume available from "Geewhizcustoms", but a bit pricy.
It looks great but don't you worry the string will cut under the arms?
@Robertjustafan Good question! The body soft rubber is strong enough to hold it as long as you don't pull the cape too hard (usually we won't do that). If you are still worried, then you can try using a thicker fabric string. It should work fine.

@Robertjustafan Thanks and glad you like it!! Yes, having a glue gun is very useful, but it also fine if you don't have it, you can just get a pack of glue sticks... just like what you see in the video, I often just simply heat it up using a lighter. Can ask anytime if you need help!
