I just bought the 2024 Tucson Hybrid SEL and love it. Several thousands dollars cheaper which pretty much the same features. Pearl Black exterior with off white interior. Very rich looking. Mpg is around 40. And I just started up my car set the temperature and turned on the heated seats from two blocks away with my phone app. Awesome!! Also 5 years 60,000 mi bumper to bumper add 3 years oil change and tire rotation
Did a ton of research on this Hybrid class (thank you, KBB!). Honda CRV was dull, outdated and overpriced. Toyota RAV4 is also ready for a refresh and the infotainment system was small and clunky...and overpriced. Subaru Forester's tech was laggy and the styling is still dull(and no hybrid version). Would not/did not consider the Chevy or Ford products. The tech, style/design, space, warranty and drivability sold me on the 2025 Tucson Hybrid Limited. Paid waaay below sticker, too. OTD, easily saved around $3K over the competition.
This has been on my list for years, but I am opting for the ‘25 Limited gas model in Atlantis Blue. I rented the ‘25 SEL model in silver and loved it!!
Dear Good, I'm tired of hearing the word “minimalism” used for any car with nicely designed interiors. My review of the car's interior should be described as cozy, practical, and a great representative of the Korean design language. Honestly, the way people use the word “minimalism” now could be applied to any vintage car interior. I don't have a grudge against you, KBB; it bothers me that every product, not just cars, is being reviewed today.
Quietness and refinement > Tucson. Smooth ride > Forester. Just wish the Forester didn't look so dorky. Looks bad in person. The rear looks chopped off and overall looks cheap.
the driver info center and such is just so, meh to be honest. I still like how Chevy has their layout like you mentioned for the 25 Equinox. Plus Chevy has real physical buttons for the hvac and the infotainment screen too. Prefer that over this style. But everyone is different in that area. What's up with the fingerprint thing?
At 2:26 is the reason why I hate when these auto reviewers need to look away from the road and look at the camera. All the crap we always say about keep your eyes on the road, don't text yada yada and every one of them takes their eyes off the road when speaking to the camera.
Is it just me or does the white smoke at 3:37 when it speeds up looks a little concerning? Looking at the background, it looks to be a warm place so cold shouldn't be a factor.
Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video and I have already booked a test drive for the hybrid of the tuscon 2025 and awd is standard here on all models, In Canada we also have the hyundai tucson Nline Hybrid with awd which you didn't mention in the video
Why Why is there no way to turn off the “consider taking a break “ Notification? I have a 2025 Tucson and I’m considering returning it for a car that doesn’t beep at me because it’s windy or there’s too much construction with uneven lanes. Do not buy Hyundai until they allow you to turn off all these nagging and distracting erroneous notifications. Thank you, Hyundai for ruining my new car experience.
This is kind of funny, because today morning I was wondering if a new Tucson will get more new Sonata inspired fascia. And few hours later I saw this video. I’m a bit disappointed, it doesn’t look more like a spaceship, but it’s still a very good looking car.
It wasn’t because they couldn’t figure it out, it was due to a licensing dispute for the larger screens….the newer Kia cars with the CCNC software have wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. The will be the case for the Sportage refresh due in a few months.
Do these cars still catch on fire while driving? Some auto makers think it's OK to have gas drip on hot engine...and suggest you park your car away from your house.
@@Jefferson-603 No, it is not "negligible". Some Japanese and Korean made cars have been known to catch on fire, either due to gasoline leaking on hot engine, or due to battery and electrical wiring coming in contact to surrounding flammable material. Some have electric motors and heaters that can overheat and set things on fire. They issued recall notices with no solution...only a suggestion NOT to park in a garage, near buildings or near other cars.
@samkitty5894 if you're referring to a safety recall from Hyundai Kia motors affecting cars from 2010 to 2015 is pretty old. You're blowing things out of proportion. All auto manufacturers have safety recalls. Apparently this is the only one you can remember in the grand scheme of things Go troll another page.

Make sure you have fire extinguisher in your car. Maybe two.
Congratulations I am going car shopping

You didn't check out Nissan or Mazda?

This one was great. Good job!
Which model is this one? 2024 F/L?
if it compaire with Mazda CX-5 which one is better for quality and design? what I am afraid is qaulity long time use is not good as Japan car
CX-5, no question.
What color is this one?

I like the maximalism if this new car.
Does it have a spare tire
The ICE version does come with a spare, not the Hybrid.
How does the non-hybrid Tucson compare to the new Forester in terms of cabin quietness and refinement?
Quietness and refinement > Tucson. Smooth ride > Forester.
Just wish the Forester didn't look so dorky. Looks bad in person. The rear looks chopped off and overall looks cheap.
I was thinking of going for the hybrid but limiting the new console design to the Limited will make me look elsewhere
U r right now because this video is not a chance to get the latest version of luck 🤞😺😁
Only applies to the 2.5 engine set up and the off road trim. The entire hybrid model line ups get the new interior refresh for 2025

Y'all need a McDonald's drive through mode 😂
You know, I wouldn't have thought about the Tucson hybrid, but this deserves a lot of thought! Thanks for the in-depth review, Lyn!
Level 3 for the regentative braking reminds me of the feeling of a Jake Brake on a semi truck in a way.
Love it

Good catch.
Looks like a stock footage. She's driving a gray one.
Excellent review Lyn!😸

Rather have a real shifter

My friend bought one . Said it’s been the worst car he ever bought . Lemon !
Lemon?
Expand your statement- how so?

Little car is right. I wish it was a wider car. Really small
What? It's a compact crossover. And it has more room in it than pretty much every thing in this segment.
This PHEV is expensive than TESLA Y model
Plug in's are going the way of the do-do.
The worst of both worlds.
Look like they doing the ev treatment in the inside
The interior is miles better as far quality goes from the Equinox but they need to ditch piano black.
Trying to defend Hyundai's interior quality is crazy 🤣

Minimalist means basic. The previous interior which I own is more unique.
Il n’y a rien de nouveau, ça vient de kia et c’est lais.
You know it’s tiny when a little old lady looks normal sized driving it.
I'm 6'2" (187cm) and I have no issues with it. This lady must've cranked the seat up and forward to the maximum.
I am 182cm and my wife is 175cm with 2 children. The space is superb for all. Go to see it.
Another one that doesn't know what they're talking about
Hyundai needs to change the Tucson's exterior looks, still ugly! The interior is nice.
Yeah that subjective

So tired of interior (gray color) looking closer to white than gray. Bring back a nice medium gray or heather gray. PLEASE.
I've got brown leather in my '22 Santa Fe PHEV, it's beautiful I
