How about draining the cauliflower....adding a little cream and whipping with an immersion blender to make them even more like mashed potatoes.😋. Looks great Autumn!!
Suggestion. Mix one can of cannellini beans with one lb package of frozen nuked cauliflower. Then put it in a food processor and blend the living daylights out of it. This is called Faux-tato. Best low GI substitute for mashed potatoes I have found. Use it for your topping.
I just made this with ground beef, delicious 😋. I steamed my cauliflower and used an immersion blender and added a little cream per another’s suggestion. Thank you!!
Hi Autumn, thank you for this as I have made traditional shepherds and cottage pies for years and this is an easy conversion for me. FYI it is pronounced LEE and Perrins and Wooster-sheer sauce, my favourite ingredient in almost everything.🇦🇺
The weird thing is I have actually been in kitchens that don't have any, at all. How do these people cook? I lean towards Wister sheer It's my England heritage. 😂
Using those individual casserole dishes allows to make some with potato and some with the cauliflower. My 10-year-old and 12-year-old need those extra healthy calories thank you as always looking forward to trying us. I have been procrastinating on buying ground lamb this will be the recipe try it.
I have a similar recipe that used to be on my regular rotation! Thanks for this reminder. I’m going to make it tonight! I just happen to have ground lamb on hand.
LOVE “shepherds” pie, what ever it’s made with! Just discovered your channel and subbed! I’m ’67 and have always eaten real food along with junk foods. Potato chips were my lifetime favourite addiction but now I’ve eliminated those and seed oil fried garbage. Convenience food is quick and easy for many busy people yet taking the time to cook I’ve found is a lot cheaper, tastier and healthier!! My health has improved with an animal based diet! Still love drinking beer even though alcohol is bad for us. What’s your opinion on beer?✌🏻🇨🇦
Great recipe, I'm going to give this one a go for the whole family :) To answer your question, it's pronounced 'Lee' and Perrins (remembered from childhood tv adverts!) and the sauce itself is pronounced 'Woostersher' - you're welcome! 🤣🤣
I'm excited to try this! Please link to those casserole dishes!! If you don't have the exact link can you please share the measurements? I'm sure you get asked all the time about kitchen items you use. If you had an Amazon store or favorites links many would shop by your recommendations! Thank you!
Lea & Perrins. Pronounced “Lee” and Perrins. Worcestershire Sauce. It’s pronounced Wostersher, the “o” to rhyme with “put” and don’t sound the “r”. Greetings from the UK. Love your channel ❤️
Hey Autumn, whatever you have on your face today looks amazing! Please I would love to try this recipe, however cauliflower bloats me to the max even at the sight of it, how can I reduce the bloating from it please
Thanks for all you do. I like the recipe but ground lamb is a ton of calories so I usually go with lean turkey, chicken or beef. Obviously less lean will have more flavor.
@@lifewillbebetternow your comment is rude and uncalled for. You ruin it for everyone else. It looks like comments are turned off after yours. If I were Autumn I would block you.

Yes! My Dad loved the Lea and Perrins back in the 60s.😊
Looks delicious! Can’t wait to try it :)
That all looks delish~ Mine would need some garlic and red over white onion. Lea...I think so. Interesting dish.
@@roustabout4fun the recipe does call for garlic.
Going to make this tonight!! Yummm 😊
Yummy! Can’t wait to try them t
Pronunciation - " Lee & Perin's wos- ter sauce" Watching from England ☺️
When Lea and Perrins advertised back in the day on television, they pronounced it “Lee.”
Do you have a link or a description for the individual baking dishes?
Nice one!❤
Oh my goodness, made this (with the ground lamb) delicious

@joan-lisa-smith keep, your hair on. The lady is the one who asked how it is pronounced. I was just answering her.
@joan-lisa-smith I was just trying to be informative, not critical , but I guess you don’t understand. Good day to you. 😊
This looks delicious and I bet in my home there will be leftovers for lunch the next day.
Hey Autumn, whatever you have on your face today looks amazing! Please I would love to try this recipe, however cauliflower bloats me to the max even at the sight of it, how can I reduce the bloating from it please
You look amazing autumn
Worcestershire Sauce is pronounced [Lee ] Lea & Perrin
Note to self:
Shepherds pie (mince, carrot, mushroom, courgette, tomato puree, miso + potato, cauli, cheese)
Can you link the baking dishes please?
White or red potatoes are healthier though than russet the starches in it are a bit different (carbs)
Thanks for all you do. I like the recipe but ground lamb is a ton of calories so I usually go with lean turkey, chicken or beef. Obviously less lean will have more flavor.
😂 my mouth was drooling 😂
What is the size and brand of the wok you are using?
Why didnt you put peas in it?
Also if you are going to freeze it would you bake it before freezing or after
Freeze unbaked
Glad to finally see a North American using lamb to make shepherds pie, with beef its called cottage pie
❤❤❤❤❤
How does the glycemic index of russet potatoes compare to sweet potatoes?
Usually it’s much higher than sweet potato, but sweet potato (depending on the amount used) will be either medium or high glycemic load
What would you sub for mushrooms as my family is not big on them
You can just leave it out or add in another carrot
Would ground chicken work? I’m not eating red meat atm
It’ll just taste a little different but it should still work
Where do you purchase your lamb meat?
Does the cauliflower taste like cauliflower? I have tried cauliflower and don’t like the taste.
Definitely like cheesy cauliflower, but it’s worth trying if you haven’t done it with parm or butter before
All you gotta do is swap cauliflower for potatoes
Definitely making this! Thanks for sharing Autumn!
Will frozen cauliflower work the same as fresh cauliflower?
It should!
Hello pretty autumn…..nicely done also you should wear a hat /hair up keeps/control hair touching& falling into your delicious food…just saying….
