Saw Bob Dylan in concert years ago. He came on stage, sang for 60 minutes and left. Everyone thought he was coming back for an encore, his tour bus beat us out of the parking lot. He never said a word to the crowd besides singing. For a legend he was not gracious, or appreciative of his fans. Maybe he was having a bad day, I've always hoped that. Like his music but that night did not leave a good impression of his people skills.
I’m so glad he has survived his stardom. I graduated from high school back in 2012.. a couple months before the ceremony, my school principal called my dad and asked him if I would be interested in performing a song with my friend for the graduation ceremony. I was so happy. I had recently discovered this song at that time and I instantly chose this song. I suggested this song to my friend and she loved it and we agreed on it. I sang and she harmonized with me. It was a beautiful time. But the outcome of it all is sad because I don't see them or hear from them anymore... I just hope they all remember this song and will always be true.. I love you all Northlake high school- class of 2012.

one of the greatest sons of the rock era, IMO. when my son was really little, i used to sing these lyrics as if they were a prayer. i should start doing that again.
Dylan said in younger days he didnt know where these lyrics came from. He was a bit of a profit whose words touched so many lives. May God bless and keep him.

I’m sitting in Canby Oregon having a homemade beer and listening to Dylan. It’s a clear night and the Space Station just flew by a waning moon. “Forever young.“
Hi! I grew up in Gladstone! Good to see this comment😎
May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
May your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young
❤
Thank you! What a wonderful and moving performance and photos you have chosen to honour Bob! He sounds spectacular and The Band too!
You have chosen the same words and sentiment that would have been my comments.

Just sang this at a backyard celebration of life while still on earth for my Aunt Freddie, 83. She has an illness. It was our last song and we dedicated it to her. She loved it and I made it through without crying. I love this song so much. Thank you Bob.

When my son, Bobby, named after my father, Bob and my love, Dylan, was born in 75 I honored him with this song, which he has lived up to,. I am so proud of them. His dad was a Vietnam door gunner. Did the 3x's max. I wish this for him also,

Although I enjoy all versions of this song; most definitely this one from the Last Waltz holds first place for me. I've watched this film probably as much as any in my library. A salute to Bob Barry for his tribute to Bob Dylan. I dedicate my post to the memory of Bill Graham, whose Last Supper for the Last Waltz will nourish our spirit Forever Young.
For the birthday boy, on his big 80th. Beautiful song, beautiful man. Forever relevant, forever young...
Long live Bob, world would be a cold colder place without him.
Congratulations on the Nobel Prize for Literature, Bob! You well deserve it for the genius that you are.
Regina Montana Jesus is with Bob . Also Jesus was Jewish . I believe sometimes a person is special because they are supposed to be and may Bobby always be young at heart and Blessed by Jesus Our Lord and his too ❤️✝️

Many thank-yous for these awesome pics from Bob D's past! ♡
I 'met' his music in 1965 and have remained a fan since!!
We may not be physically 'young' but the mind remains ever youthful!! 😀
Classic pictures of Dylan. His music and poetry need no introduction. He is the Ameican version of Shakespeare. He was a prophet, wise beyond his years. Happy to have known him and to have grown up with his music. Thank you for the pictures.
My new #1 song. Love this and listen to it often. What a Blessing. A no holds bar Appreciation for Life! Thank you Bob!
There simply are no words because this song has such soul and heart force, such a universal power, that it touches the very essence of love.
Bob Dylan, at the age of 79, has just released another brilliant album...talk about forever young. My god, that we have been able to listen to and learn from this truly original artist all these years. Thank you, Bob Dylan.
This is very wonderful and joyful moment !
FOREVER YOUNG@@@@@😁😎😯👍✌👍✌✌✌✌
Thank you Mr. Bob Dylan.
@bob Barry thanks for sharing this with us all , my dad introduced me to Bob Dylan and I love his music
Such diversity , in all his music !'
Love you Dylan..... Very wise man !
one of the greatest sons of the rock era, IMO. when my son was really little, i used to sing these lyrics as if they were a prayer. i should start doing that again.
Words cannot express the brilliance of this. Amazing.
This song is tears, tears are this song. It doesn't matter what happens. we always stay young 2023 from Germany
Dylan said in younger days he didnt know where these lyrics came from. He was a bit of a profit whose words touched so many lives.
May God bless and keep him.
I keep coming back to this song, over and over again. Pure Love.
"There is nothing so stable as change. " ..
.. - Bob Dylan 😎
As Myles na'Gallopeleen (Myles of the little horses) said, " The only constant in life is vecisitude."
That is the Tao.
same thought in various words; Ive always heard it as:
"The Only Thing Constant in Life, is that Everything Changes."
...or, "The only Constant is Change."...
