Not only that but the version that they are using for the HD Remaster of country returns is the 3DS being upscale combined with the graphics and framerate from the Wii original btw.
The exclusive 3DS levels being here along with better controls, an actually decent enough resolution that isn't 480p or the 3DS's resolution, and proper handheld play, easily make this the best version of the game and I still don't get much the hate it gets.
@@TDashLIVE Probably because of brand value, Nintendo is actually focusing on making DK a much bigger and valuable franchise than ever before as evident by what they've been doing in recent years with it, hence why it's $60 even though people may not like it which is understandable; the only reason why Metroid Prime 1 Remastered was $40 (I know people bring it up constantly which I can't entirely blame them) was because of Metroid being a much less valuable and recognizable franchise on top of the game being a totally throwaway game since it got almost no marketing at all (even if the game is almost perfect) hence why it's less. I really don't think the price is entirely much of a problem especially since they didn't even make the game worse like people claimed it was gonna be, I personally would've been much more upset if the game actually got butchered but thankfully it didn't, which I can't really get upset at this especially since neither the Wii original or the 3DS versions were the best ways to play it.

Because the Wii version is the original. It was released again on the 3DS with this added content...they are re-releasing it again on the Switch. I'd almost rather have a new one at this point.
It was exclusively new content only for the 3ds version as you basically rereleased it with the bonus levels from 3ds as they are using the 3ds version for this HD Version combined with the framrate and graphics from the Wii original into one.
To bad this isn't true dkc game, but a wannabe that got rid of the core mechanics that made dkc so different from other platforms and so fun , still a good donkey kong game, but it's not donkey kong country game like name sake says
Agreed. Rare made DKC what it was back during the SNES era. Nintendo can make as many cheap clones of DKC 1&2 as they want, the result will *_never_* measure up to what came before.
Friendly Reminder: These levels were exclusive to the 3DS remake.

I remember LOL
I’m starting to think the hardware power of the Switch is weaker than that of the Wii

I suppose it's the fact that the game is still $60

@@TDashLIVEyeah that’s my only complaint honestly
This is a return of an already nostalgic series.

4:45 nah, you raised in a jungle filled with animals
Hold on I remember hearing the The 3DS version has like additional secret levels Are these levels from the 3Ds or their original?
I believe all are included
The 3DS version.
I don’t get why this wasn’t in the Wii version

Wow Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is Great ☺️❤️
I remember playing this when i was younger
On 3DS? 'Cause eight of these levels didn't exist on Wii.
@ChiefMedicPururu yeah
Oh, memories.
Basically an expansion of sorts from the 3DS version just one level like the Wii version.
Why didn't the Wii have the Cloud World?
Don't eat the golden banana
Neat, 'cause the game doesn't release until tomorrow.
Unless you're in Japan, or something. In which case it is out.
Clearly, this isn't a Japanese copy. Most likely...a review copy.
Which version do you prefer? wii, 3ds, or switch?
Geno Prince Of Sãble Isaac & Mimikyu For Smash!
This reminds me of Supet Mario Bro wii
My brother in christ the game just came out 😭🙏
To me, mirror mode is an horrible reward. The game is already difficult enough.
I don’t understand why they’re releasing this game for a third time with no added content. So lazy.

What mechanics?
The animal companions?
Other than that I can't think of any other ones
