Should of got the arrma 3s blxs buddy. 😁 Not a broken shaft or even part on mine for that matter in cold the cold here. But I'll admit I'm a Arrma fanboy. In all seriousness the rustler seems like a nice truck. Great bash buddy.

I agree the Arrma is a much better value and possibly the stronger truck. I have a Mega Granite 4x4 now on VXL 3S and it has not broken anything except the slipper. I will do a BLX slipper and gears conversion on it soon.

Netcruzer RC TECH CARS can you run 3s on your car without having overheating issues?? I can only get about 5 minutes of runtime before it shuts off because it’s too hot. I tried esc fans but I don’t want to gear down because it’ll drive slower

Man, I wish Traxxas would just add 15-20% more value to their RCs for their asking price. All VXL models across the board should come with aluminum shock caps and cvds, IMO. Nice vid, just sub'd. 👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻👊🏻 Happy New Year!

I broke an control arm but I’ve beat the crap out of it at skate parks between Florida over Christmas The the mountains of Virginia I jumped it off a few cliffs that were way higher than I planned. Then nailed a curb the other day with just one front wheel it popped a screw threw the body and busted the control arm about 75% thru it. It’ll still drive I’m scared to jump it though got new ones on the way now.

If you're running aluminum shock caps, I recommend using the plastic shock bushings to mount them to the shock tower rather than the steel shoulder screws. You'll avoid metal-on-metal wear that way. TRA2669 has the bushings and are what you're supposed to use with the all-metal Traxxas big bore shocks. A lot of the kits come with them already, check your spare parts bag. See: ua-cam.com/video/_xvy263iGcU/v-deo.html

constantly spinning the wheels is a Recipe for a blown differential, or axle. Also, this is why Buggy's and Truggy's are the best RC's, they are the most flexible, and have the best fun factor. monster trucks and street cars are the worst, followed by SC trucks. buggies are best, as you can slap Truggy tires on , and its a Stadium truck/truggy

The new traxxas with self righting and clipless body are superior generation traxxas. I sold my older stampede for the rustler 4wd . Love the 2wd stampede only used it 7 or 8 times but control arms and other parts are inferior. Compared to the next gen traxxas machines
