@@Dom_Di I already have external amps. I bought it because I am expanding to 4 atmos speakers in my theater. Audio Advice had it on sale this weekend for $1980 so I picked it up since it has 11.2 pre outs and at that price point it will be a good replacement from the Emotiva XMC 1. So I asking if the internal amps can be disabled since I'll be running external for all 11 channels? Thanks again for your help.
@@percybedford6266 AVR11 does not have a power amplifier shutdown function. It will do it automatically because it will not detect any load. Just don't connect the speakers directly to the AVR11.
Can the internal amps be disabled? I just bought one and I plan to use it as a pre pro for my theater.
The external amplifier will support which channels? stereo, dolby atmos, surround?
