In the early 70’s from 1970-1974 my grandparents took the Betela Dance Troupe to Japan. Later, my parents continued the dance contract during the summer from 1988-1996. Sadly, the owner past away, our dance contract came to an end. Namegawa Island was our second home. Me and my brothers playground. We have so many fond memories. Sad to see it is now a ghost town.
I went here recently and saw alot of strange red animals in the evening as it got dark, i made a fire and cooked some noodles and thats when i started hearing voices... like people having a fun conversation just around the corner but every 5mins from somewhere else... once coming from the forest and once coming from the rooftop of the main building and once just out of thin air... i made a fire and thought about camping there but it started getting very creepy, lots of things moving in the bush and i 100% think something or someone was watching me from some thick bushes and as looked over from a bit closer with my headlamp i could see a kind of face like a animal type face looking at me but when i got closer with my knife in my hand it dissapear literally before my eyes... it was there and then gone... i had soaked some noodles and didn't want be a pussycat and run away... after cooking some food and having a hotchocolate by the fire it me think im going crazy bcoz the voices started getting lowder every few minutes and coming from all around the area i was chilling and at one point as i stood by the fire around 9pm it felt like my eyes just involuntarily closed and something pushed me toward the fire, like something invisible wanted to push me into the fire... i almost fell forward into it! By this time i was like ok no way this place is haunted for sure its gonna be hard sleeping here! I tried to be brave but then it got freezing cold right away and i knew the whole area had warm weather around that day so i things were not normal, i packed all my things as calmly as i could without making too much noise and motion and left some things behind to keep whatever is watching me busy until i can get away... i made it out and onto the beach and as i was hiking along the edge of the cliff i two heard two loud yells like kinda the word "Hiii !" And "Ah No" as i went around the corner of out of sight... most freaked out ive ever been in my life...

@@Ruusujuuri they did. In fact they shot a few sentai shows there. I think I read that they shot some Kamen Rider episodes there as well.
