Hi, I'm Rocketbass, I play Bass with my OWN STYLE, all the Covers here and Everything posted here is IMPROVISED. Do you have a song for me? Tell me what song it is and I'll make a cover for you. Enjoy. Many greetings! Jose Vargas (ROCKETBASS)
@@ROCKETTBASS Well, that certainly hit me off guard! Very unexpected on here. But since you mention that, I can think of a few things I'd like you to do. However, it would involve me, and stuff I come up with on guitar. I don't know how that would be conceivably possible without me doing the things I like to do and you actually hearing it. I'm kinda selfish that way, and why would I want to hear other guitar players indulge themselves instead of listening to myself? Other wise, I would just listen to you and what you're already doing on here. As I said, I've been around right handed guitar players, playing, and showing off, their right handed whatever models, all my life, which are completely useless to me. As a left hander, I'm no Jimmy Haslip by any means. But yeah. I can think of something a guy from England showed me the string skipping chords [tune I've always liked] on where I would crank up my guitar for sheer force. You would not need to do that on this particular tune since you play bass. Something that is also blasted off the ground with Billy Cobham on drums. Anyways, I will go post the tutorial for that, if you're interested, and it should be cut and dry, although I would extend it up further with 20 more One.. 1-2-3 chord lines, if you will. I mean certainly that, besides stuff that I just come up with on my own whenever. I sure appreciate it.
@@ROCKETTBASS OK, back. On a tune I've always liked, I thought of something different. The following video is just to show how this song goes. HOWEVER, it is I who would have to play the continuous 1-1.2.3, and 1-2-3 note nomenclature, not you. The main difference between me and this guy, is I want it loud! Therefore, In my concept, you as the bass player are, or would be taking the lead in this, if you're interested. Therefore, the guitar would be taking the background for you, the drums, and everybody else. That same concept was done on a Tony Williams drum "solo" where other instruments are in the background. I've NEVER had a stereo turned up as loud in my life as I did on that particular song, or that part of it, with Tony Williams playing? Anyways, you could throw the kitchen sink in on this deal, including a xylophone and the guy in an orchestra crashing the cymbals together. So, if you're interested, here it is, and I will upload a backing track for this to my channel which you can just copy, or whatever. I haven't added my guitar to the backing track since I still need it for my own playing. I don't know any bass players, drummers, or anybody else. Just me. Regardless, here is what it is, and I'll upload the backing track from Birds of Fire. It will be available ONLY on my channel tomorrow. Nowhere else on the internet, except for my channel. Many greetings!

Nice song, nice bass, nice play!
Thank you!
Excellent! It's so nice to listen to a bass player for a change. I've been around other guitar players all my life and it gets long past redundant.
Thank you so much! If you want, tell me a song and I'll make a cover for you. Many greetings!

@@ROCKETTBASS Alrighty, then. The backing track, which I made, for the song I requested is now available exclusively on my channel.
