Turning My Model X into a PLAID Model X! *Kinda*

The good ole' interior swap. I feel like I have done so many of these over the years! But the X is here to stay and I much rather have carbon fiber instead of wood. Hopefully Tesla will allow that as a paid upgrade. Would be an easy way to increase revenue! Which do you prefer?

Our 2018 Model X has a white interior, and even though it's a non-performance model, it did come with carbon fiber. I absolutely LOVE the white interior with carbon fiber. I agree with you that it should at least be an option for new vehicles.

The carbon fiber looks very good, it adds to the sporty feeling. The wood adds to the luxurious feeling as there is more color with the wood, but the carbon fiber still looks better!

Love the carbon fiber. I agree that this should still be an option. I am picking up my XLR on Saturday, and was wondering if you have the part numbers for the carbon fiber parts? I looked at the EPC and am guessing that the ones marked TWILL are the carbon fiber?

I swapped out my 2022 model S, interior with carbon fiber, and don’t regret a single thing!

Oddly enough, despite not being a big fan of carbon fibre, I think that in this instance, it's actually a better match with the rest of Tesla's interior design choices. The wood is a nice touch, but it seems as though it belongs in a car such as a Mercedes or other such luxury brands.
