Nooo, one of the greatest ever, his grooooove is just insaaane !
I've always loved Jeff Lorbers playing since i was a teenager in my own highschool bands.
Tune 88 !! I played it several times in my live between '80 /'90 . A great funk composition . :-)
Man .... That Rhythm Section .... Nate is the Groove Bass Meister ... And Bright SUNNY Sonny E on Drums so TIGHT ... can’t even fit no thinnest sheet of paper in between 😆🤗👍🏽
He is no Dennis Bradford though
An amazing lineup of just amazing musicians!! Thank you!
Watching Jeff is almost as fun as listening to him.......he is a ball of energy! lol
Der hat wirklich die Lorbeeren verdient. So einen konzeptionell geschmackvollen Pianisten und aufregenden Solisten habe ich keinen Zweiten. Master of Jazz Rock Funk Fusion.
Hey it’s a lineup of well spoken artist who play well together mm practice n devotion gets ya here thanks Jeff
This band is killer! Love groovie fusion like this! I just recently got my eyes up for Sonny Emory, what a groovie beast, not to mention Nate Phillips! Marienthal and Lorber for me, speaks for their self... long term fans of both. Amazing stuff!
Jeff Lorber and these guys are superb and i love their sound,Emmett North Jr. ***
Thanks for posting this up for us, what great monsters they are all. That's what practicing non-stop will do for you.
Jeff Lorber..Great Musician..
Lovin' this stuff since my teens!.....Thanks Jeff, for all the years of FANTASTIC music!
Nice tight clean drum work.
I used to see Jeff in little dive clubs in Boston 45 years ago when he attended Berklee school of music. He was great then and better today.
Since day one, Jeff has always been in top shape surrounded only with buddies that deserve to play with him. What a band.
I always thought Jeff Lorber's music was some of the most melodic of the Fusion/Smooth Jazz Era !!!###
facts!
Talent in its purest form there. I've played keys since I was 4 years old & let me tell you: Lorber's feel defies belief. God-level musicianship
wow - the dudes did some serious practicing
Eric Marienthal and Nate Phillips are "formidable" Musicians ! Friendships of France /Paris to the group !
I still have this on vinyl. The original. This is fantastic seeing the Jeff Lorber Fusion playing live three decades later, and the sound is authentic. Seems when you are before your time.... Awesome. Glad Dave Koz is on his own now.
Yup! By far the best live performance that I have seen. All the guys really delivers grest musicianship and interplay. Have seen this video show about 10 x's by now. Bloody awesome playing. Really cooking and steaming!! You really feel the music here!!
i love what he plays at 23:23 - so pure and awesome!!
Jeff Lorber is a new discovery for me as long as I've been familiar with his success, watching this show has inspired me to look deeper into the mind of Jeff's artistry. Thanks to Frank Colon and cybersnake64 for getting my attention. in Return I hope you enjoy this Artist I discovered a few years back.Rudy is killer on the set..get paste link, just look up

Die Hard Jeff Lorber fans come here,
I've loved Jeff Lorber since I was in my late teens in the 70's and love him today. Just saw him in Cincinnati 8/26 , Incredible Still!!!
this is what "grooving" is all about! musicians letin it all hang out there n doin it!
TAKE THAT snarky puppy!!!!! 4 masters having a real conversation! Take Heed !
Fuck Snarky Puppy!!! not even in the same league (Pun intended)
Rorschach????? That's where I grew up! Lovely region. I heard Jeff Lorber first time in the 1980's - amazing pianist, great pleasure!
All of them are amazing, but the solo by Eric in Tune 88 is actually outstanding!
insightful, humble comments from jeff at 15:13 about his keyboard influences.
For his not being able to emulate Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea (Jeff's own words), he put all the more effort, and success, into taking his own style to further place than it would have, had he been "able". A more enjoyable place.
Great inspirator
That's the JLF sound I've loved for years!!
EPIC smooth jazz track..one of the pillars of the genre
All I know is Sonny Emory be killing it on the drums...Dude is just SOOOOO sweet....He drives the bus ain't no doubt!...Get cha' some Sonny Emory!...and Nate Phillips formerly of Cool'R fame is sick too on the bass!...Damn good players...Sick stuff!!!!
before Cool'R was Pleasure, check that work out! He's a beast!
the piano is Joe sample George duke and David Benoit and bobby lyle
Great music! Jeff Lorber is one of the best in the game!!!
"Horace" is an amazing composition to me. Thanks for this upload.
That song basically fed my soul through high school.
One of the greatest shows I've ever seen! They Nailed it! \o/
Very funky cymbal work at 21:50, drummer just lets rip from 41:15 onwards... amazing stuff!
When I grow up I want to sound as good as Jeff & Eric :-)
Person Natalie ... For REAL Tho’ ... 😆lol😆🤗
I need to catch Jeff live. I was just thinking about who can carry the torch after so many legends that are slowing down... Go boy!
758..Eric pulls up pants.. Knows he rules the sax?
these guys are really getting a groove on nice one
Thank you for uploading! I love this crew!
Eric on sax Amazing!
simply amazing...they're all on fire at this club!
TAKE THAT snarky puppy!!!!! 4 masters having a real conversation! Take Heed !
I look at like this: Snarky puppy members have musical conversations, but they’re just talking about the meaning of life. Jeff Lorber and the guys just have a connection with their harts and the instruments, and are experts with emotion.
Jeff is from another dimension
Lorber always plays more notes than he can chew
wonderful great Musicians! Jeff as leader!
Eric M. ... Breathing 🔥 FIRE 🤗👍🏽.... Daz sum Real FUZZZZZZION 🤗👍🏽
Thank you for uploading!!!!! Jeff Lorber is my favorite artist when it comes to music!! :)

👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾
cybersnake64 ....Thanks for this post...J.L.F. has always been the SHIT...From his first album to present..As a Bass player I was compelled to learn every bass line on every album and 35 years later its still the Shit...MH
Oh Kenneth I'm not one for cursing but I got the emotion behind what he meant and I totally agree with him! So there mr. Critic
Oh Kenneth oh lighten up Ken he was just a xpressing himself using a common vernacular of our day. As I said I don't necessarily favor the term but I'm certainly not going to criticize how the man talks, not my place! And I thought I was a prude! Lol
Yeah! Fantastic show and great sound on this video. This music needs good recording. You hear all the cats clearly. Thanks, Cybersnake! You did a great job on this.:-) Respect from me.
Awesome
Wow ! talk about syncopation huh ! so glad I checked this out .. thanks for tthe upload ..
Jeff too cold. My alltime favorite musician!!!!

The KING PINS HARD AT WORK. ALL THE BEST FROM JEFF OUT WEST in PALMDALE, CALIFORNIA 10/15/2022
Nate Phillips on bass! I'm in for a treat.
I was playing this last night. My keyboard was smoking.....and then the alarm went off. LOL
Thanks this was one of my favorite keyboard players I liked to imitate.
Zyrtec an antihistamen used as antipsychotic 4schizophrenia chronic paranoid type. Thanks for your wisdom
Whoa, what a band!
Need slightly higher gain on Jeff's keyboard & a little less aggression on drums.
Lorber is the master IMHO.
Can someone please write in a comment the names of the songs? Id'like to find them on Google Play Music. Thanks
All played song titles are listed in time order.
Marienthal aint no joke either! Bass man strong in the pocket and Sonny just way too cole!!!
sorry this is fun for me thanks
American Heroes , So fine. Top honors. Head of the class. You all make US proud. Lucky world too.
I was able to play jazz in Europe when I was a kid. Europe loves jazz. But often they play it a little off. There are some swinging cats there. Maynard Ferguson got a lot of guys there for his band over the years.
America doesn't know how good we have it. They push non music on the unsuspecting public.
Motzart didn't play written solos the same over and over. They were superstars...the king and gang came every week to see the impromptu solos. Classical jazz. I like Jazz fusion ( jazz rock mix......4/4 rock beats with the jazz. Very strong).......Go back and look at Glen Miller. Very weak rhythm section.....no electric....few mics. Now we have the boss rhythm section to syncopate against/with.
Yes to Sonny Emory!!!!!! Jeff is that dude!!!
22:47 insane drums! And then he loses the stick ;)
Oh my gosh, you're right!
That's what happens when you're jamming hard AF!# LOL..😜👍
53 👎’s!! Just wondering why the 👎??
I live JLF and have since I was a nineteen year old. I’m sixty one and this music never ages.
I was 18 when someone turned me onto him and I'm 62 now! Love this man!
Do these guys ever play Dazzle Denver jazz club?
Buenas lla barristes me acabo de caer
Wow. I have chills.
Wheres the mini moog ? Gotta have it...😂😂😂
8:32 what did he say to the drummer?
Para los asistentes , incluye tambien el test de Rorschach?..aparte de la buena musica de la banda de Jeff......:)
THIS BROTHERS BAD!!!
Rhythm section yellowjackets has a different style
than Eric and Jeff.
Coucou Didier ! J'adore aussi Jeff Lorber ! Découvert également dans les années 80 !
Lorber is awesome!
Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3 next in line. MWB
Thanks for uploading, saw him in san diego back in the 90's. I used to play a couple of his tunes in a band to include tune 88. His music is both great to listen to and extremely fun to play.
Everest world music !!!
